Mornin' BBB.
Loved slide show of Jack and VA group, Raine. They look like a great bunch of guys. Jack looked totally into the camaraderie.
Saw a big golden retriever yesterday that reminded me so much of Jack. She just enjoyed being touched by anyone. Kinda slutty, but that is OK in a dog, LOL.
DW's B-day today. She prefers low key celebration, so its going to be our regular date night with special b-day cake. Tomorrow, she will go see her family in NYC and try to mend a rift between brother and mother. Family drama.
Everyone have a safe and enjoyable New Year's Eve.

Wow, another year almost in the books. It goes so fast.
I want to thank each of you for all the friendship, comradery, candor and unconditional love throughout the year. Some of you I have met in person and some not but all are close friends that I would go through fire for. Have a healthy, happy, loving and fun filled New Year!
Training this morning and then Tom and I are having an early dinner at our favorite Japanese restaurant and heading home early. Training is in an old Navy base hanger so we will be protected from some of the cold although I suspect that it is not heated
Lee - tell DW happy birthday from BBB.
Lisa - we are enjoying the pictures from you anniversery weekend in the city. Enjoy dancing the night and year away.
Kelly - my heart goes out to you and your family. Continued prayers.

We are staying home tonight, but then we had a very nice dinner with friends last night. We've only done that a few times in the last decades. We really enjoyed ourselves, and we are resolving to enjoy time with our friends more.
Raine, I hear what you are saying about this group. I have known many in this group from Men's Health, and GOAD, and I could not find a better group of friends.
Enjoy your New Year's celebrations! Drink in moderation, and don't drink and drive. Have a very happy New Year!

Uno's is good too. I've lost track of the actual day but Happy Anniversary Lisa. Enjoy your special night. Kelly, I see where one of your local HS bands is going to the inauguration. All décor tucked away other than the tree, which I'll do Mon. when the guys are all back to work and Im home alone. House looks bare now.
Tonite is early rib eye dinner at home, then stop at our friends house and we are onto people watching and some music at the casino for a bit. Likely home long before mid-night.

I agree Raine...don't know what I would have done without you all during my crazy year. Sounding boards that aren't family are good.
Spent last night washing all the dishes in the house to get the "mouse" off of them. Have a whole donate pile of everything we haven't used since the kitchen remodel a couple of years ago.
Heading to my family (4 hour drive) later today for the Christmas celebration. We had planned to go last night but with DH's foot still hurting I wanted him to spend one more night in his own bed. The actual celebration isn't until Sunday and I want to stay all day and didn't want him to poop out and want to go home early.
