Mornin' BBB and Happy New Year!

DW and I were fast asleep, snuggling with Babe and Tess.

Manchester by the Sea was pretty good. I might have shed a tear at one point. Had pan seared duck and DW had a veggie dish of celeriac and zucchini that was thinly sliced like spaghetti and served in a truffle cream sauce which she thought was excellent.

    MRA results in Skip?

Thank you, Dennis. Okla State's defense has been so erratic in recent years you never know what to expect when facing top tier teams.

Hope all had a safe and enjoyable night.

    Good Morning BBB.
Tom and I had a wonderful dinner and then came home to fall asleep after the ball dropped in NYC.
I think he woke up for a minute at midnight central time but that may have been a dream.
Sounds and looks like BBBers had enjoyable celebrations.
I'm helping my best friend clean up her family's 6 flat after a 3am Christmas Day fire. Thankfully no one killed. Her mother and brother and his family lived there along with 4 other tenants. Her mom is 93 and in hospice care in Florida for an unrelated heart condition - we will be going through some of her personal items as we cannot remove anything substantial until the insurance adjuster is finished. Sad.
    Do good out there everyone.

BTW - Ohio State screwed my pool. Just pathetic.

    Happy New Year BBB!!
Glad to hear about the good times had by y'all. We toured the Biltmore Estate at night for the first time. We've been a few times during the day, what a different look to the place. Then came back to the hotel watched the ball drop in Times Square and in bed by 12:15.

    Good Morning! Happy New Year!

We were in bed before 10:30 last night. I don't know, we just have never felt the need to stay up and see the new year in.

Connie and I have seen less than 10 movies in the last 20 years. We went yesterday, and saw the movie Arrival. I REALLY liked this movie. With the dinner party that we went to on Friday night, we're just steppin' out into all kinds of areas that we usually don't visit. I like it!

Connie plays the pipe organ at church. Service is at 9:30. I wonder how many will be sleeping in this morning?

    Have a Blessed New Year!

    Steve

    I wanna see "Arrival"!

BTW, Lisa...you and Jim look "mah-valous".

Raine, so sorry about the fire, but so glad no one injured. See "Manchester by the Sea".

Not surprised with Ohio State...Clemson is the real deal. Rooting for them against the "Tide".

    Happy new year.

At mom's with one sister and family and most of the other sisters kids. The rest will be here soon. 14 yo had a basketball tourn. I wanted to move "christmas" to another weekend because of a wedding but no one else would and then they aren't here. Not super happy at them.

Good morning BBB Friends. Looks like fun Lisa. I watched Clemson kick the other OSUs butt (sorry Mary) and then went to bed. We had the NYE show on and watched Mariah melt down. Saw the ball drop, kissed the DW and rolled over and went to sleep. No hangover for me this morning. I'm off to the late service at church. Have a great day and new year everyone. Tommie, hopefully you'll drop in more often this year.

    Morning Gang~

Lisa/Jim - you look great! Hope you had fun in Chi-Town!
Raine - OMG! Thankfully nobody hurt. What a tragedy.....
Steve - glad you and Connie and venturing into new waters....

Carrie and I celebrated with a quiet dinner at our favorite steakhouse and retreated to basement to watch the FoxNews New York Ball Drop and flicked back and forth with a House Hunters marathon... ha... Back was pretty sore - so no dancing for us. We smooched and went to bed shortly after.

I suspect MRA results won't make it to me until Tues/Wed, Lee. Tomorrow everything here is closed for Holiday.

    RIP: Father Mulcahy (William Christopher)!

    Go Redskins!!

    Happy New Year Everyone!

Wow, I had to go check that Ohio State score, oh wait they didn't score - what the heck! DS1 got to spend his New Years Eve in a hotel in Urbana IL with Men's Basketball in IL and will charter back home late tonight after their game at 6pm cst. He's being recruited by a private college in Dallas,. Not sure he's real interested, but nice they reached out!? Could go either way, I think. Money talks as they say.

We were up til 3am bringing in the New Year - lots of fun!

Packer game tonite, one more day off Monday, and its back to reality.

Enjoy the first day of the year, BBB!

    Hugs all around !

    Happy New Years,
Had a quiet Eve and was in bed by 10. Rainy night in Georgia.
Today we had several of our old neighbors over for lunch, a southern New Years meal. Another rainy day in Georgia.
Watched several good games today, enjoyed Falcons win but was scared they were going to lose it in 4th.
Rain expected to continue into Tuesday, cold again by Friday.
Congratulations to those with anniversaries, Birthdays and celebrating spouses Birthdays.
Safe travels to those away from home.
Skip please take it easy and keep us informed of test results.
I'm hoping for a great 2017 and pray that each of you as well as your families are blessed this year with health, love, kindness and a little wealth.
    Enjoy the Day,
    Sam I am
