    Good Morning!

Today is a little calmer. Tons going on, but I have a more relaxed attitude today. Yes, Lou, this is my first year-end here. Biggest hurdle aside from just the number of tasks to do, is to understand the software, and knowing how to time the closing of each segment. Payroll and inventory are my biggest challenges with this close. I also have a clerk that got stuck twice yesterday, because she was trying to put in December transactions using a January date. Gotta love the protective features of the computer for that!

So far this year, I've kept on track with Yoga and steps. Weight, not so much, but it will come down as eating gets back on correct track.

    Have a great day!

Morning Men. All's well. DW and I have joined a group that pledges to walk at least 3 miles a day outside (regardless of weather) and so far so good. Gets the blood pumping.

    Good morning.

The last system we used had an extra twist, Steve. The software developers didn't understand the difference between the date on a form, the date a batch is posted and the ledger date. We had to do all kinds of accounting yoga to work around that.

Nice Seth. I walk 3 miles daily regardless of weather myself. I have missed maybe 3-4 days in a month but am pretty regular.

Good Morning. Another wet day, but the winds have died down and then 2 days of the most rain we will have seen in a few years. The Sierras are smiling underneath all that snow. Our snowpack may finally be back to average levels by next week. Still getting back into a healthy routine with planning & tracking and activity. But I bit the bullet and bought some inexpensive "fat clothes" for the next 4-6 weeks. I made some oatmeal with apple & honey this morning. I forgot how good it was and filling. It feels good to be getting this part of my life back under increasing levels of control.
