I'm starting to lift again....and first go at it, I didn't really listen to music...this time I plan on it...So please tell me...what genre of music do you lift to, and any must have songs (like the ones to make you beast out, especially on dead lift day) just curious how others get thru :smiley:

    I listen to a Pandora station I made based on the artist Kiesza. It's like dance punk type music that plays. Gets me pumped :)

    I'm enjoying 70's Funky Town type music while I work out right now. I found a fun playlist on YouTube and just let it play through. It's all upbeat and keeps me moving or dancing while changing weights! :D

    i just go naked. with music i either get so caught up in it that i zone on what i'm actually doing . . . or the other way round.

    I don't listen to music when lifting - only to keep me going if using the arm crank erg or the bike. Lately I've been listening to Ghost's Meliora album. Before that it was Iron Maiden, Def Leppard or AC/DC.
