    Last night was my super long day with a public workshop in a neighboring town. Tomorrow, I speak at the annual meeting of the Huntington's Disease Society, IL chapter. My law practice is focused in estate planning, and working with people who have special needs and those who are burdened with dread diagnoses.
    Today, if you are well...don't take it for granted...be very happy!!!

    Thanks for the reminder @RangerRickL I often forget and start to wallow in my own self-pity, but there are always others who have it much harder than me!

    FEBRUARY 24 - The practice of yoga is big on gratitude, and I like that. My Saturday Y class closes with a reminder: "to be ever grateful for a body that can work so hard." Just when you're ready to grumble with your classmates about how hard class was, the instructor comes out with that phrase, nipping all whining in the bud and replacing it with gratitude and pride. That's a powerful thing.

    Exercise - Morning yoga, noon Body Pump class.

    Calories - Yes

    @RangerRickL It is wonderful that your practice helps those with special needs.

    @fitqueenbess I go to the Y too! I love their yoga classes! I also love how they offer jobs for those with special needs. It is a daily reminder to appreciate my capable body. It is a blessing.

    Exercise? Yes; 48 minutes of strength training, a 20 minute run, and a 35 minute walk
    Tracking? Yes
    Calories? Yes

    This morning, I had a migraine and almost skipped the gym, but I pushed through and went. Not only did it help me feel better, but a very fit, older man complimented me on my workout and said that he was impressed :) It was a wonderful compliment by someone clearly dedicated to fitness.

    Ditto with the above comments...there's always something to be thankful for and someone worse off than you. Let's enjoy our weekend!

    Exercise: 30 Tracy Anderson DVD and 45 min cleaning
    Calories: within limits- can't believe I had over 600 at dinner (homemade pasta- yum)

    I was hard pressed today, but I had a really good morning workout
    Exercise: 24 minutes of Active Stretching and 38minutes of cardio strength intervals.
    Calories; under the limit

    Yet another pass day. Dinner and a movie and ice cream after the movie, oh and no exercise.

    Exercise? OH yeah! I went it and did the first workout for the Crossfit open and I completed it under time!
    Calories/Tracking? Yes, I ate my exercise calories back via brownies but I was under.
