Will it work in pocket

I'm thinking of getting a Fitbit Alta. The only thing is I would not be allowed to wear it around my wrist as I am a nurse. Will it work in my pocket?

You should get a Zip or a One. The wrist ones are meant to be worn on the wrist for accuracy purposes. That said, if you just need to keep it in your pocket during work, then I don't think that would really be an issue. Again though, there might be some accuracy issues when it's in your pocket.0

I put my Alta in my pocket when I'm at the store pushing a shopping cart and it works fine. I'm not sure really how accurate it is, but it always counts a lot of steps.0

You can connect with more than one. My husband wears a HR at work and use a Garmin with workouts because he sweats a lot.0
