Is it just me or is this a common side effect from a VGS procedure. It's me and my MiraLAX.

I think it's pretty common, I am over 3 years out and it can still be an issue for me. I'm guessing it's because of the high amount of protein we eat. I found that adding a little bit of fat to my diet helps, and also when I can squeeze in some veggies that helps too.

Yep, I have it more frequently. Like @garber6th said, adding in some healthy fats and vegetables can really help and make sure you're getting your water in too.

For the first few months it was an issue for me. So much so that I bought the 3 pack of Miralax at CostCo! The past year or so I've been pretty good. I think lots of natural fiber in fruits and vegetables help a lot.

My surgeon tells us to take the 5 scoops of powdered fiber daily - not just when we're constipated. I've found doing this makes a huge difference.
