MFP random calorie goal instead of Fitbit calorie adjustment

Hey everyone. I'm having some serious trouble with syncing my MFP account and my Fitbit. I have a Charge 2, FYI.
My daily calorie goal has been switching between 1470 and 1692 randomly... I have my Fitbit and MFP synced (technically), but I never see a calorie adjustment, even on days when my calorie goal is shown as 1692. I think there's something seriously wrong bu not sure how to fix it. I've already disconnected them and quit everything and started the process over. Successfully synced but still no adjustment is shown. I've already enabled negative adjustments as well.
Thoughts?

Make sure FitBit is set as your step tracker in the app. That seems to be a common solution.

If your calorie eating goal has been changing, and there is NO exercise or adjustments in the exercise diary - you have an issue with your MFP account.

Unlikely doing anything with your Fitbit account would correct that.

When/if syncing could happen though - sounds like you'd be guaranteed for some screwed up data.

I'd get the MFP side fixed before trying to get Fitbit syncing.

That's almost the difference between your MFP Activity Level bouncing between Lightly Active and Active, or Active and Very Active.

Sedentary and Lightly Active would be too small a difference.

And no - Fitbit has no bearing on that.
