I seem to have terrible will power post Christmas (where my successful weight loss going wrong every year) :< Because of this I've set a hopefully achievable not massive goal, but honestly i'll be happy with any loss since I haven't seen any in a few months! Grrrr.2 -

My overall weight loss I do weekly, and that's the only time I log my weight on MFP. But for these monthly challenges I like to do a true month, keeps it interesting! Overall I lost 3lb this week but 1lb of that was in January
I set goal of 8lb in January, managed 6lb and am very happy with that. But I'm challenging myself to make up the difference this month, 10lb in 4 weeks for someone my size is achievable and safe.
Then again, stressful month ahead.....I'm having to reapply for my job, application needs to be in Tuesday morning and interviews are next week.....I've also just applied for another (VERY long shot!) job which interviews the following week, if I am shortlisted. And it's quarter end with lots of very tight deadlines to meet.......uuurrrrrgggghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Trying to be determined, I've made 2 different batches of soup today for lunches (180 and 160 calories per portion with plenty of veg and protein) and have planned quick dinners for this week and bought all groceries. Here's hoping I can stick to it!2 -

I'm so excited! I think this weekly weigh in is really helping me. I've lost almost 5lbs since I started my journey in January. This is amazing. It's hard for me to get up and get active as I have a desk job 7am-5pm and then I am a seamstress when I get home. The progress is small but I'm seeing it!2 -

I had a lovely whosh of 3 to 4 pounds at the end of January, so I am patiently waiting for the next drop. I weight in most days, but don't (claim) a number until I have seen it for 3 to 4 days in a row. Happy Friday to everyone!
Did this once before a year ago and lost 35 lbs. Gained it back, looking for a repeat of the losses and a continuance to the end. Please feel free to friend me.

Sooo I just found out my scales were dodgy, and where I thought I had gained 4 lbs over the holiday (which I was ok with) I had actually gained 8! Argh. On an upside I do feel like this might be the kick up the bum I needed to get my willpower back! Nyaaaah! So! quick number change...

So I gained 2lb this week. I'm not surprised and I accept it. I had an appalling start to the week, stress and anger and lack of sleep due to working past midnight every night. By Thursday I was at +5lb! But then I took back control, and the fact that I managed to reduce this to +2lb in the next 3 days is a win in itself.
Onwards and upwards - or should that be downwards?1 -

This is feeling really pathetic. It's only 6 weeks since I made a life-changing commitment to myself (that spans much more than weight loss) - just 6 weeks, and already I can't stick to it.
WHAT THE HELL IS MY PROBLEM???????????????????????????????????????
I'd actually lost the 2lb I gained last week by Wednesday......but then had the worst pig out on Friday. I suppose it's some kind of victory that I managed to offset that damage, but this is feeling pretty hopeless right now0 -

Jen, Meow, & maybe others---Setbacks happen to all of us. I'm on the right path right now because I have and am using every possible tool at my disposal right now (like the Doctor on Friday, my trainer this weekend and a behavioral therapy session yesterday). I've lost huge amounts and regained huge amounts and can honestly say that setbacks happen. It's the dusting yourself off and getting to the roots of whys and hows and how to fix that have made a difference for me this time. You can do it!

Farewell February! Having trouble figuring out how to edit my post so...
247 to 240 in February. (I'll take it!)
I started mfp on Dec 27th so 2 months= 24 lbs.
I feel so much better overall. Not hugely noticeable on the outside yet, but I can certainly tell by my clothes fitting better just feeling better. Thanks for the encouragement everyone.4 -
