What's on the agenda for today, diehards?

My trainer wants me to get outside & do something active today, so my plan is to go walk my favorite nature trail. It's hilly and wooded. In the winter it's a groomed cross-country ski trail, so there are 2.5K, 3.5K or 5.5 K options. I was supposed to walk with my cousin but she bailed on me, so my iPod and I are going alone.

I also need to try to generally be more active during the day today. Weekends I do my workouts but am way too sedentary the rest of the time, so my challenge to myself today is to get up and move more regularly - do some cleaning or something.

Haven't decided what to do today ... Gym or outside. Woke up with a sore throat ( I guess working with little kids in a very confined space will do that for you), but other than that I feel like I want/need to be active.

Went crazy with food last night, so I feel like I need to pay the piper today!

Got back from our annual vacation earlier today. Did a lot of walking there but the food was not great. This week I get back on track.

I will try to walk 4 miles today.

I'm going to run 2 miles today. Yesterday I ran 5 miles on the treadmill, and for the first time in my life I actually ran the entire way!! And I felt like I could do more but it was late in the afternoon and I needed to start dinner. So today I'm taking it easy with 2 miles.

I am at training in another city all this week, so my lunches might be a little difficult. I won't be able to look up nutrition facts before going out for lunch each day. So I'm a little apprehensive about how my meals will go. I'll do my best to try the healthiest things on the menu!

    Have a great week everyone!

Eating out is really hard for me, but a friend of mine eats out all the time (seriously 5-6 times a week) and manages to lose weight, so it can be done. Good luck!
