Heel Pain

About three months ago I went on a longer-than-normal run and after that had some pain in my heel that won't go away. I've been treating it like plantar fasciitis, doing a lot of calf stretching and rolling it on a ball (going to use a frozen water bottle in the near future). I have dialed back my mileage in order to take an "active rest" approach to recovery. I'm running in Skora Phase shoes and want to continue using barefoot shoes since I tend to run with less pounding when I use them. I've been running in "barefoot" shoes for the past five years without exception so I'm wondering what happened (my feet should be fairly accustomed to running without support).
Any ideas on how to better rehab my heel?
