Well I didn't start last week as I had sedation dental treatment and Valentine's meals out so I knew I'd not be sticking to a my plan so I started today
I've gained 40 lbs so that's still my goal I hope it's off by October but 5-7lbs a month is a goal lol
I do get frustrated at slow losses I must start seeing a little off is better than a little on

Slow loss is better than no loss! Also, sustainable.
I'm using progress photos and measurements to track progress as that darn scale can be a lying jerk, especially when I start weight training like I am now. This isn't my first rodeo... I went from 225 to 109 in about 18 months after my daughter was born. She is turning 13 this week and the weight has slowly crept back on me over the last few years, a fairly steady 10lbs per year. Time to reverse that trend! I checked in at 175.6 this morning ugh. Shooting for 2.5lbs per week... Started on Monday at 177.8 but that was the beginning of my cycle so... My diary currently says 172 but that's because I only record when I beat the last low otherwise the ups and downs make me lose motivation and I am incapable of not weighing myself every morning.0 -
This is my first week and it's not really going as planned, mostly in the exercising stuff. lol. Eating part is ok, but now I'm getting hungry after I used up all my calories. Although 1200 is much lower than what I have been eating, I know I can do better I just need to get adjusted and in some kind of routine.1

I use a calculator and put in my honest exercise activity level eat that as if you eat exercise calories it's incredibly hard to eat the right amount as its not possible to find how many your burning off tbh

Feels like it's been a good week. Good workouts and the diet had remained intact. It really helps that my wife is trying to lose now too!3

I am so excited, just finished my first week with fitness pal. I have lost 1.4 lbs. Tracked every day, reached all my daily and weekly fitness goals. Finding the food part of the program very easy, where I am struggling is with the sodium and sugar categories. Never realized how much natural sugar is in fruits and the sodium in foods is incredible...........so proud of myself though as I made a homemade salt substitute and that is what I am using. Have not touched the salt shaker in 10 days..............WOOHOO! WAY TO GO, YOU GO GIRL!....LOL.......I love salty things but honestly I have not missed it that much in the last 10 days...........I CAN DO THIS!!!1
