Missed checking in yesterday. Up and out at 0dark:00 to drive across Florida to train with FLTF1&2. Jack did great - he even snuck in a quick dip in the creek near our last search - I love that dog!

Steph - we are with you in spirit. Sage advice yesterday, not that you need it. Remember to take time to grieve and nurture yourself and your loved ones. Crying is a good thing.

Yep! Plan on watching part of the Daytona 500. It seems like it is going to be weird, because our favorite driver, Carl Edwards, has retired. Also not sure about the new scoring. It will be OK. Connie says that it is time to move on from NASCAR. I disagree.
Yesterday was a busy day. First we hit a couple of hobby stores for Connie, then she told me about this car she had been thinking about. She has sorta been looking for a while now. So, long story short, we bought her a new RED 2015 Honda Civic. She has driven a Honda Civic since 1981, but they have all been black. Dealer didn't have the title yet, so hopefully, we'll pick it up on Tuesday. She likes to drive manual shift cars, which are harder to come by. She got a very good deal. Connie's birthday is tomorrow, so happy birthday to her! She will be 59, and is freaking out about that. I am MUCH younger at 56. I'll turn 57 in May.
Lots going on today, including buttoning down preparation for Connie's birthday. Aside from the car, she is getting tickets to see Joe Bonamassa in a couple of weeks. I know that we just saw him in December in Tulsa, but she was disappointed that we didn't go to his concert in Kansas City in February. Actually, she had the dates wrong, and the concert is in March, so I bought her tickets.
Steph, continuing to pray for you and your family today.
Skip, Lee, Mary, and others who are dealing with chronic pain from back, knees, thyroid, etc., I continue to pray for healing for you, as well.

Great "lazy" day yesterday.... Finished classes early and watched the Nascar race and a great movie with DW last night.... Today is VFW with pals to watch the 500!
Congrats on the new wheels to Connie, Steve! Funny - you went out for glitter and glue and came back home with a car instead

Good morning BBB Friends. Honda makes a great car. I remember when they first showed up in the States they were so tiny. Now they are normal sized cars. Great quality. I know Skip is excited about the race. I will probably watch some and I too kinda like the Elliott kid. Hoping Steph has started some well needed time off. Glad Mary got to have some fun. Off to church. I'm working the slide show.0

Morning gang. Got home from dad's about 10 then had to finish packing. Bed about 12:30 and alarm went off at 3. Layover on Houston but should be in the sun by supper time.

I drive a red M6 w/stick Steve, fun car. But next will be a automatic crossover of some sort.
Family fun 500 day. We are heading to my nephews with Ds2, and a couple of others. I have to go with team JJ, given our pit crew ties there...
Enjoy the day, uugghhh back to work for me Monday. I could get used to working from home easily.
