In the weekly Warrior Mini-Goal Challenge focus on your short term goals.
Focusing on one week at a time, when the big picture seems too overwhelming. Small changes can bring on big results!!
Choose one or more things you want to work on for just this week. Don't set it too high or unreachable!!
Please, make sure your week works for you. Sun to Sat or Mon to Sun, whatever is YOUR week!
You can reach your main goal if you break it into small actionable steps. It could be as easy as 1-2-3!
1) Choose something you know you can do easily.
2) Add more difficult tasks to your plan.
3) These small steps will get you started, motivated & help build routine for long term success!!
Anyone interested in joining us for another week, or a first week, or a get back on track week?
Check in often, have a great week and do the best you can!

Happy Monday!! Let's all have a good week. I am thinking of putting down the same goals that I have had but picking my steps goal to really, really concentrate on. So maybe when you post your goals for this week, you will pick one that you want to make the most progress on or concentrate on.
My goals
1. Check in daily
2. walk 5000 steps or more
3. workout 2 times1 -
Thanks for getting us started Paulette!!

Something to concentrate on for me is tracking and being green.
Thanks for bringing that back to basics for me Paulette. I am feeling rather off track!
Since I am just back in the saddle I will separate these and simplify....
1) track (0/6)
2) be green (0/6)
3) something new: guided meditation (0/2)
I will be back soon to report in on progress
Be well and good luck keeping steady.0 -
Hello All- Happy Tuesday
Molly- great goals again. consistency is a good way to move forward. Have a good week.
Julie- great way to get back on track. good things to concentrate on.
I set my calendar at work to remind me every 30 minutes to get up and move and walk at least 250 steps. I am happy to report that I had 6,100 steps yesterday. going to try to match that again today.

Loving all of the goals!
Good job on those steps Paulette!!
Julie love the meditation goal! & getting back to basics is key.
I have really been doing good because after Friday weigh in with WW I decided I am not going to use any of my fitpoints (eating back exercise calories, since I am not really working out) Since then the weight has been melting off.
I also just said it is March and I am going to have to buckle down. The awsome thing is since I dropped a few more pounds my knees are already feeling better and I feel lighter. They still ache but for the last 2 days I have not had to take an aleve, so that is inspiring me to stay of track for sure!!
This week I have a funeral on Friday, so I will miss my weigh in with my normal group, so I am going to go to another meeting on Saturday morning.

Happy Wednesday!
Molly sounds like a great discovery on your part. Good news about your knees. I am sorry for your loss but so impressed you are going to weigh in anyway.
Tuesday check in
My goals
1. Check in daily- 2/2
2. walk 5000 steps or more - 2/2
3. workout 2 times 1/2

Molly - you are very inspiring - the knee pain issue is one that I share (oh, and my back, and my hips, and my feet LOL) - I have no doubt that taking any weight off helps those poor joints suffer less! And it is so awesome you are going to buckle down. I will join you in this endeavour
Paulette - way to go on those steps! I love it when something is naturally built into my day and I don't even notice that it has happened for the better.
I am losing lots of sleep and feeling anxious about my work. So I constantly get up at night and think and obsess. It is very unfortunate and is the main reason for adding meditation to my list of goals now. I need to have some say about what my brain does!
1) track (2/6)
2) be green (1/6)
3) something new: guided meditation (0/2)1 -

Molly - congratulations - that is amazing progress. Isn't it amazing also how a mere 10 minutes of housework can make you feel lighter?
Paulette - Way to go on your "average" steps per day - I think in that way you are in fact making your mini-goal. I played a game of singles tennis on Monday and ended up getting way more steps than usual. I was aching like nobody's business. I've decided to set a max for myself - it's my thinking that these days I need a bit of variety to round out the aches I am still thinking I will go back for a swim once a week as it is a gentler sport, but I know that steps are good for our bones.
I have been feeling better and managed to get two nights of good sleep. I have a hard week of work ahead of me, but I think I have enough time to be steady with it (rather than in a state of panic).
I will check in again once more on the weekend.
I haven't been very good at being green and I actually think I'm gaining weight, so I have to do a rethink this weekend about why (I actually think the stress at work and my lack of sleep/anxiety has been making me go off the rails health-wise)
1) track (3/6)
2) be green (2/6)
3) something new: guided meditation (0/2)0 -
Happy Friday!!
Good job Julie on activity and steps! Variety is the spice of life Life happens and it is what it is. We are never going to be perfect that is why it is so important we remain mindful of our health and weight. Doing that alone will help us get back on track as soon as possible.
Keep up the good work Warriors!
