Dosconnecting

Anyone know why it often takes several attempts to get my Fitbit disconnected from MFP? I hit "disconnect" in the apps section last night, and this morning I'm still synched....and had to hit "disconnect" again. This always happens where I have to play for several days before it works.
Am I missing something here?
