One of my favourite quick and easy filling meals is a whole pot of Supermarket soup. They are the closest thing to a home made soup which is affordable, quick to prepare tasty and, if you pick the right ones, both filling and low in calories.
Some soups have as little as 124 calories in half a post - but remember, I mean for you to eat the whole pot so remember to double the portion size.
Choose a soup that has one or more of the following filling items in them: Rice, beans, lentils, chicken or any other meat. all of these make for a thick soup which fills you up and keeps the bulk of the soup in you for a long time.
The protein is said to reduce hunger pangs and the other ingredients take a while to pass out of the stomach keeping you feeling fuller for longer.
All the Supermarkets supply 600ml chilled soups but keep an eye on anything excessive such as salt or calories before you buy. Salt is often but not always fairly high in the soups so try to stick to only one a day and balance your salt intake for the day with your other meals.

If your soup has less that 400 calories, you can also try adding 3 Kallo - Sea Salt and Black Pepper Rice Cakes. You won't be disappointed with these rice cakes.0
