Morning bbb
Dropped off Ron and Avery and my luggage at the airport and now bumming around old san jaun until my flight later this afternoon.
Having breakfast at the Hilton enjoying the sun rise then probably some shopping.
This the the most needed vacation ever.
Yesterday the school my moms school let the kids do a balloon release to say goodbye to mom.3 -

Balloon releases are powerful. My son, when he was in third grade, spontaneously released a balloon as we put a very sick pet to sleep at home. It was an emergency situation, other wise the kids would not have been present at that age. He ran into the house and came out with a helium filled balloon he had floating in his room and released it as Kismit crossed over. Sarah Jane wanted to chase it. Damn near killed me. Still brings tears typing about it.
Sam, hope DMIL's head was OK. Glad you all survived the poisoning.

Good Morning BBB.
A dusting of snow on the ground this morning. Yesterday was quite productive and I feel like today will be too. Met with real estate broker yesterday and meeting with another one this morning. I liked the one yesterday. We've known the agent I'm meeting with this morning for a number of years and unless something earth shattering happens we will probably use her.
Tom brought home Chinese food last night - Chef Shrimp and veggie fried rice - yum.
Steph - it is wonderful that you had this time to get away and breath.
Lee - I love that balloon release story. Powerful.
Mary - the April trip will be a blast - I've never gone on a destination bachelorette party.

Dinner with friends last night to cap off a LONG stressful week. WE finally cleared all the hurdles with mortgage lender and wend from preapproval to approval (big stress off our shoulders). Off to VFW for a staff meeting at 9a and a Gov's rally at 2p.
I miss reading SJ blogs from Rainbow Bridge.

Good morning BBB Friends. I'm off to church for an Alpha weekend. Glad you had a good vacation Steph. Have a safe trip home. Good luck with the home sale Raine. Not my favorite times but I must say my last one went quite smooth. The VFW is going to miss you Skip. I better go.0

Love releasing the balloons Yup safe travels Steph.
. Need some myself. Busy "helping" with second story siding around shallow roof that has membrane. Tried to slice my left index finger off with utility knife. Same time had cellulitis developing in left "index" toe. Double dipped at immedate care on Tue. Steri-stripped finger and antibiotics for cellulitis and foot soaks.
DSIL did great job siding on one of the two cut out roofs (gives view from windows). Thur emergency trip to ophthalmologist because flashes of " lightning bolts" started in left eye while riding to yoga. Did chair yoga but w/o putting head down. This can been warning symptom of beginning retinal detachment etc so a must to check out. Turns out it was as I suspected some vitreal thread tugging on retina and no hint of tear or detachment.
DW had something kinda similar with sudden viteous floater and now does headstands in yoga.

Geezzz Bob, maybe take is easy this weekend. Hope everything heals up quick.
We are hooking up the trailer shortly and delivering ds2 a headboard, his file cabinet and whatever else I can toss his way and get out of here. Then its a stop at the garbage dump with an old table, non working tree and some outdoor holiday décor, etc. No pack ratting allowed at this new house. Less is way better!
Raine, I bet your house is going to go quick if the market is anything like it is here. Way more buyers out there than inventory! Plus you have a big lot, right? Wishing you the best!

Yesterday afternoon: a woman (33) was reported missing. Her family lives here. She dropped off the animals and was to meet her husband at the airport. She was a no show. Her car was found running with the hazards on, purse in car, cell phone as well, passenger door open about 4 blocks from our house. !!!!
Her body was found this morning on a river bank!!! How sad. How scary. This town is not safe like it used to be.
I'm home alone a lot. Actually, quite often. I guess I'll be getting a gun and putting it on the main level. Dh is gone from 4pm until 530am.
Sheesh. Crazy people.
