Hello everyone. I'm a professional chef and a foodie through and through. In the 12 years since I entered this line of work I've learned an awful lot about delicious food and how to prepare it. I've also managed to gain 50 lbs in the process. :(
But that's why I'm here on MFP! I want to lose the weight and get back into shape. Knowing a lot about food has been a benefit to me, since I'm pretty good at coming up with healthy recipes and meal ideas. I haven't studied nutrition extensively, but I am pretty knowledgeable in this area as well.

I'd love to help you all in your weight loss/fitness journeys. If you have any food or cooking related questions, I'd be happy to answer them.
