Week 4 Tracking Reminders

Hi everyone!

We hope you had a great weekend and are looking forward to our Wednesday webinar, where we'll discuss the healthiest options at fast food restaurants. I'm going through your food logs last week and just wanted to remind everyone of a few things -
  • Don't forget to track your beverage intake - everyone is pretty consistently great about tracking their morning coffee, but after that, it seems like many of you don't drink anything for the rest of the day!
  • Breakfast is such an important meal and can really set the tone for the rest of your day. Adding a protein (eggs, chicken sausage, turkey bacon) in the morning will help keep you full until lunch time.
  • This week, try to challenge yourself to eating out only 1-2 times. Cooking your own food gives you way more control over what you're putting in your body. While most chain restaurants are legally obligated to provide you with nutrition information, they do not need to disclose specific ingredients or information on food preparation (although some may choose to do so). Additionally, locally-owned restaurants do not need to prove customers with nutrition information, ingredients or preparation info.
