Pass day #1 for me today. Logged everything and stayed under calories but felt terrible again with my cold so no exercise.3

Lol My new year starts Tuesday
I love Easter it's a no gift holiday. We just get together for a meal nothing fancy. No candy.
So this year my Mom let my dad and I pick the menu. Lol
We picked Turkey there was one in the freezer why not.
Potato salad because I am not a big potato eater which leaves more for him.
Orange jello . My favorite
Sour cream cucumbers dad's pick
Squash my pick
Rolls dad's thing
My mom was telling my daughter and she laughed she goes moms eating orange papa picked all white
I will pick up flowers to add some more color . Happy Easter everyone!!3 -
Exercise? Yes 25 minute dog walk
Tracking? Not as I should have...lots of bites, tastes, and licks
Within calories? No
Today's eating is the very reason why I never bring food back home from a family gathering!3 -

@lovesretirement I don't bring home anything either we send everything home with my daughter so we know she has a few decent meals during the week.4

Happy Easter everyone! I'm afraid it is a pass day for me.
I did try to track but it all is a blur. I made a healthy option for our pot luck brunch so I some healthy leftovers for lunch this week.
Exercise - Yes - two mile walk between the rain and church.

Now I'm going to get ready for a successful Monday so I can start anew.5 -
It was a great day. The weather was so nice. We hosted dinner - simple but yummy.
Made the time for a 1-hour walk - planned the whole day to ensure there was time.
I stayed within my calorie budget - plotted out the whole day in advance. Ate some of everything but I didn't overeat. I feel great.
I tracked everything I ate and drank.5 -

@RangerRickL Perfect timing with the poster you posted today. I haven't had a great week even though I did lose .6 pounds. Looking forward to tomorrow (Monday) to refocus and be accountable.

Surprisingly, this was a non-traditional Easter dinner day. Our grandson's 9th birthday fell on Easter this year. He got to choose the meal. Greek gyros meat, pita bread, and some greek salad. I had no problem staying under the calorie limit as those foods are not delicacies to me.
Got to play outside with the grandkids. We bought him a youth basketball. Lots of fun
Calories: no problem
Exercise: no problem
Tracking: kind of funny for a holiday.

@RangerRickL sounds like you had a good family day, maybe you should let your grandson pick the next holiday menu...lol
@Dosse1320 congratulations on your loss. It is great to see anytime but when we are feeling like we didn't do well it feels extra special! Hope you have a good week!

Happy Easter everyone! We had a great day, planned Easter egg hunt & Brunch instead of dinner this year. Stayed on track without feeling deprived as I made sure I incorporated enough healthy choices. Was great to spend time with the whole family. Once everyone left we spent some quiet time alone. Even had a nap..lol......

Pass day #2. After being in the Chicago area sitting down basically all day and driving the 2 hours home, I was too tired to get a walk in. We also ordered pizza, so I know I was over calories.0
