At the start of today I thought it was going to be awful and was expecting to need one of my pass days but I persevered and got through.
Went out for a walk to get some fresh air and exercise at lunchtime which helped clear my fuzzy cold-ridden head and clear the stress of my bad work day.
Logged everything and stayed just under my calories instead of pigging out as I would have in the past on a day like today.
Also managed to meet all my work deadlines before the end of the day and left early to put my poor sore head to bed. Hopefully will feel better tomorrow.

Came back from the mountains last night, unpacked, and then repacked for the beach. Heading for three days in Santa Cruz. For those of you not familiar with CA, it is not a particularly warm beach, especially at this time of year, but it has beautiful beaches and that is what I love! It has great surfing and boogie boarding. The boys will wear their wetsuits and off they go. I like that too but will truly enjoy some picturesque running (when not doing that parent thing of watching them in the surf, and worrying, since their teen brains will have no worry!! Lol).
I packed lots of low carb healthy food to help me stay on plan. I am set to do this right. I just have to follow through.6 -

Pass Day1

Today is a Pass Day for me.
The day got off on the wrong foot, so to speak. I was having some pain in my hamstrings so I decided not to walk today. I had to wait around for a tradesperson to show up. The result was that I had breakfast really late so was starving. Which meant I ate more than I intended - and ate the wrong things. It went on from there. I wasn't very far over my calorie budget but I was over. But I also didn't eat very healtfully. I did, however, record everything I ate and drank.
Tomorrow will be a better day!3 -

Phoebelayla. The beach is one of my favourite places. Something about the sound of the waves and the smell of the salt that makes me feel like I am home
Got 15,000 steps at work today. Yowsers I was busy!! Logged everything and stayed under. Happy for that!

exercise, yes, 80 minutes aquamotion, 30 minutes stationary bike, also had traction today and spent 3 hours shopping, going to pay for this tonight

Yes! My friend brought me a homemade brownie and then bought me a large ice-cream cone afterwards...so I blew almost all calories by 2p.m.! I learned one thing today: need to tell my friend about no more indulgence (or at least not that much lol) but I still stayed within my calorie budget today!
