Good morning BBB Friends. DW and I cleaned up the back patio yesterday and I'm suffering with the effects of pollen this morning. I hope everyone has a good day. I'm working the AV booth at the late service at church. I better get going.

    Good Morning BBB.
Rain continues here - Tom and I are working to get the house ready for brokers' open house on Tuesday - he will be organizing the garage and I continue to clean.
I sent out a blast email from Green Dog Essentials yesterday - if I have your email then you probably received it. Check your spam folder. Click and opt in to get my informational essential oil emails - I could use your feedback and you may enjoy them. <3
    Do good out there everyone.

    Good Morning!

Sad day for Jayhawks, happy day for Ducks. Congratulations to Oregon!

Very tired today. Church this morning, then sitting on a fishing bank for awhile this afternoon. It is supposed to be in mid-fifties today. I don't know if kayak will get wet today or not.

    Morning!

Awesome 80 degree day here. Got VFW chores done (the hardwood floors look amazing)! Prepared for some upcoming events on KY Derby Day.... and ceremony on 4 April Armed Services Day...... Lots going on.

Got the Jeep out. I think everyone in Northern VA did the same! Tooled around and took DW to lunch before coming home and working on schoolwork for a few hours.

Hope the brokers open is a success, Raine! Quick sale is sure to occur!

A Tribute we'll read to honor our VV at our upcoming ceremony:

    War is not an abstraction...

It is brutal and is always accompanied by dangerous unintended consequences, uncontrollables and unpredictables.

And even though this is so, America’s men such as you, and your families, have always found higher purpose to their lives in service to their country.

I am honored to be here with you quiet heroes who slogged through brutal jungles, flew in treacherous skies and sailed in harm’s way in the unforgiving Gulf of Tonkin, always considering yourselves just ordinary people.

But, you are far from ordinary.

You are humble, patriotic and selfless.

The character of a nation is always about how it respects its veterans.

You never asked for, nor expected, anything in return for your service other than respect and dignity.

Tragically what you received upon your return from a confused and angry nation was neither.

As we learned from Vietnam, society must always separate the war from the warrior.

We do not celebrate the Vietnam War.

We commemorate and historically recognize it.

There is no glory in war, only suffering.

Life is always more about the people then the event.

Events are stages upon which individuals change the world.

And today we celebrate you men who changed our country for the better… our Vietnam Veterans and your families.

    A Toast.........

Very Nice, Bill. Cheers and God Bless all those that serve(d)

Rain, cold, damp here. A good day to just stay in. I do have to get groceries as some point.

I've been going through a bunch of old family photos of my Mom's side from 1920's thru the 1970's. So many memories and so much history. As my Mom had all her mothers photos and scrap books, which I know have, along with my Mothers, mine, etc. I also have my fathers side, from my G'mother as well. Lots of boxes that moved with me. Makes one sad missing all these family members, yet happy at the same time that they all gave us just a good life, if you know what I mean. Trying to make a wall collage for me and Tom. I want our great g'parents, g'parents', parents, then us, then our kids, and will add there after if we are blessed some day with grandbabies. Then I'll go to his sisters and gain access to his families old photos and search there.

Sending prayers out to us all and our loved here, for health, happiness, peace and love.

    Mornin' BBB.

New puppy count. Babe is 55 days and now 10 fetal skulls are visible. She will probably deliver Friday or Saturday. Check link below to view her xray. You will probably have to cut and paste.

Nice toast speech, Bill. Glad someone is having nice weather.

Raine, I know there has to be some mixed emotions about the move, but that house is gorgeous and should sell no problem and then on to your new home.

Sorry about your Jayhawks, Steve. That is why they call it madness.

    Raining like crazy here.
I miss so much on the board.
Anyway, got locked out of a house dogsitting this morning. Missed early church. Went to the grocery store then Sunday school.
Lunch with friends who are asking for help with a kitchen remodel.
Home now catching up on tv.
House is a pit. I'll get to that later.
    Have a great day.
