Hello from Simpsonville, South Carolina. Running is difficult for me, and walking is boring. I bought an awesome hardtail mountain bike with 2.75" tires on 27" wheels and I enjoy riding it. I was riding to and from the office, which is a 30 minute ride for 4.81 miles, but time changed and it got dark earlier in the morning. I decided to buy some good rear lights and continue my commute.
Too bad we don't have bike lanes around here.
I'm hoping to do some bike packing this summer in Western South Carolina and Georgia. I bought a Garmin Edge 1000 because where I've been doesn't have cell phone coverage.
A work buddy wants to do the Palmetto Trail which will be some biking and some hiking.
About me. I'm 60 years old, married with an empty nest. Love my German Shepherds and sailing. Own a rapidly growing software business, and I got a zipper in my chest a little over a year ago.
