In the weekly Warrior Mini-Goal Challenge focus on your short term goals.

Focusing on one week at a time, when the big picture seems too overwhelming. Small changes can bring on big results!!

Choose one or more things you want to work on for just this week. Don't set it too high or unreachable!!

Please, make sure your week works for you. Sun to Sat or Mon to Sun, whatever is YOUR week!

You can reach your main goal if you break it into small actionable steps. It could be as easy as 1-2-3!

1) Choose something you know you can do easily.
2) Add more difficult tasks to your plan.
3) These small steps will get you started, motivated & help build routine for long term success!!

Anyone interested in joining us for another week, or a first week, or a get back on track week?

Check in often, have a great week and do the best you can! B)<3

Hearts - you are here and alive at 4am!! Thanks for starting our thread. Now I hope you get some sleep LOL

Paulette - what a shock to hear about your co-worker. It will stay with you for a long time I am sure. Perhaps the routine of your daily steps will give you some comfort - for me I find routine in times of stress and sadness important. I hope your hip gets better soon as well.

Molly - you have done so well, it is good to put the scale aside and focus on the good changes you've made for life. I am impressed you are showing up and sticking with it.

    My mini-goals for this week:

    1) track! (0/7)
    2) be green (0/7)
    3) physio for shoulder twice a day (0/7)
    4) check in with the warriors (0/5)

Hearts- thanks for getting us started this week. great quote. hope to see you here this week. you know we are thinking of you and rooting you on.

Julie- thank you for your kind words. just taking it one day at a time. you have good goals this week and I know you can accomplish them.

Molly- Julie is right about all of the positive changes you have made and are making. keep moving forward and set yourself up for success. you are so worth it.

so for all of my failures these past weeks, it seems I have not accomplished much. my goals continue to be the same until I can get on track. so for this week, I am going to report what I did do each day. I will make sure to have one positive and hopefully something that goes towards my goals.

Have a great week everyone!! We can do this.

Paulette - so reasonable to report the good stuff. It is good to start where you won't be discouraged from getting going. I am rooting for you too.

Molly - looking forward to hearing how things are going for you. You are past the quarter hurtle. Woo!!!

Last night I woke up very stressed. I feel like I am failing to nourish those people around me. Then I worry about them all, stay up fretting, and am a basket case in the morning. Very defeating cycle. I need to book time off work to look after my mom properly. I came up with a brilliant idea though, which is getting a nanny cam for her!! Then I won't worry so much or so I think LOL

    1) track! (1/7)
    2) be green (1/7)
    3) physio for shoulder twice a day (1/7)
    4) check in with the warriors (1/5)

HI Julie- hang in there and do the best you can. Take care of yourself first so you can take care of others. I hope you work out what you need for Mom. Always a struggle for me too. Good job with your goals.

Hi Molly and Hearts- have a good day!

On Monday and Tuesday I walked over 5,000 steps. Happy with that.

    Let's keep going!

Yesterday I was a little discouraged about my lack of progress. I must really commit to a greater lifestyle makeover if I'm ever going to get back into that closet of mine. I stare everyday at 90% of my lovely clothes that no longer fit me, as I climb into my cheaper, uglier make-do-for-the-time-being clothes.

    1) track! (2/7)
    2) be green (1/7)
    3) physio for shoulder twice a day (2/7)
    4) check in with the warriors (2/5)

Hi Julie, - I totally hear you and can relate. I know that my progress or lack of is due to a lack of commitment to the lifestyle that I did for a long while. I hate most of the clothes I wear also. But hang in there. you can do this. keep going.

I was discouraged yesterday due to being out of shape. trying to walk faster and getting a little winded. but my total was 7,000 steps so that is the positive.

Have a good rest of your day and a great Friday.

    Hi warriors

I have not been doing as well this week. My mom needs some extra help and I have to set some better support in place for her...so I am taking part of next week off to do this. Aye. Doesn't help with the routine.

Thanks Paulette for your kind words. It is also for me about the ease in which the new lifestyle is built - for example, I love salad, but salad is more intensive in terms of prep than other things (like takeout!!)...so if I can make the time on Sunday afternoons to make my lunches for the office - I will probably be headed in the right direction...well, and other things too!

Good for you getting in 7,000 steps though!! That is awesome.

    1) track! (2/7)
    2) be green (1/7)
    3) physio for shoulder twice a day (4/7)
    4) check in with the warriors (2/5)

Hang in there Julie . Do what you need to do for your mom but take care of yourself. Good job this week with your shoulder exercises and checking in.

Not much for me to report. I will keep trying.

Molly you can get back on track.

Hearts we would love to hear from you.

    Have a goodbye weekend all!
