Hi Everyone. I'm Dominic or Dom
Just seen this and I would love to take part in the challenge. Going on holiday in June so would love to loose weight and tone up. Been Vegan for just over a year and can't wait to see the results of the challenge4 -
Hi Team!
I went vegan over 3 months ago. I hesitated because I travel all the time for work. I finally decided to make this decision for me and not worry about all the special meal requests I will be making every day. 90%+ of my meals are eaten in a restaurant.
I am already on the road this week so I will need to use my last weigh in from Saturday. I am looking forward to this challenge.3 -
Hi all! I'm Amy I've been vegetarian for about two years now, and almost entirely plant-based for the past four months. I say almost entirely because, while I eat 100% plant based at home, I do occasionally consume dairy when out at restaurants or eating at other people's houses. I've lost a little over 20 lbs since January 1st, and am hoping that I can get to my final goal weight over the next two months! I am at a very healthy weight now, so my main inspiration is to get more lean so that I can be a better, faster runner. Weight this morning was 140.0 lbs, 139.7 lbs according to the moving average I've been keeping track of. Nice to meet everyone so far!3

Thanks so much for joining the group everyone! I was vegetarian for 10 years and became vegan in Jan 2016 for Veganuary and haven't looked back This was purely for ethical reasons though, so I had been eating a lot of junk food! Also since becoming vegan I have enjoyed cooking and trying new products a lot more, and I got a car, so the pounds have crept on and it's time to shake them off! My weight today was exactly 79.0kg, so by June 1st I want to weigh in at 74.0kg!
Would people prefer to weigh in every week or wait until June 1st and then all weigh in then?3 -

Weekly weigh ins will be a good motivation2 -
G'day all, I'm Mike.
Transitioned to full vegan (plus home grown free range eggs from time to time) at the start of the year from mainly vegetarian and whole foods. (I had been having a bit of chicken or fish once every week or so because that was 'expected' and I never questioned it!) My diet is now cruelty-free vegan and predominantly raw. Haven't taken to the plethora of highly processed soy-based products.
My weight loss started in earnest last October, and I have made reasonable progress with about 8 kgs to go to my target weight.
I weigh daily, so can post weights at any frequency for check-ins. As this was meant to start on the 10th, my weight was 90.2kg.
Nice to meet you all!
