    When our heart is so full of wonderful things, we can't help but bubble over and share the good news of Jesus with others.

    It's kinda like the royal baby is talked about. People are so excited for this young couple and their newborn son. It's on everyone's lips because it is such good news. It makes people happy.

    This verse tells me that we can use our mouths as a gage to see if our heart is right or not. Our language is always going to provide evidence of what we have going on in our hearts, so if we are having a bad day our communication is potentially going to be more negative and less thoughtful to those around us and even ourselves. On the flip side when our heart is at peace or even when it's joyful, our communication is going to portray that as well.

    I have often not realized that I needed to be in prayer about something until I heard the things that would spew from my mouth.

    Right! I think both of you have excellent points. I agree that what comes out of our mouths is what is in our hearts. I have to examine mine to make sure of my motives before I speak!

    this one really hits home with me as well.so often my mouth takes off running and i don't even stop to think about the people i may be hurting with my negativity.may we all be mindful of what we let in our hearts and out our mouths!
