Does anyone have an air fryer? Do you think it's worth it? I have so many cooking gadgets I don't want to spend money on something I'll end up not using.

We were considering getting an air fryer because of my father's medical condition. It eventually came down to the fact that we don't have enough room in our house/kitchen for another gadget like that. I started a discussion and got some recommendations from other MFP users though :)

The Philips seems to be really popular. It's more expensive but I don't think I've seen anyone NOT recommend it. If you have room for it and everything I think it might be worth the investment, especially if it's health-related. I mean, you can bake and "oven fry" all you want but it doesn't cook as evenly and it heats up the whole house.

Thanks for directing me to the thread on air fryers. I'm going to seriously think about the Philips. I use the oven a lot and it would be so nice not to hear up the house in the summer.

Anyone else super excited with it being spring (and summer being soon behind) because of the FOOD? Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables that are/will be in season and our Farmer's Markets are opening up next week. It really has put me in a great mindset when it comes to eating healthier with a bigger focus on non-meat options. What are some of YOUR favorite seasonal produce or things to do?

I probably won't be very active the next couple weeks, because I'll be in Ecuador starting tomorrow! I'll probably be more pescatarian while I'm there but c'est la vie
