    Good Morning,
    Tis TGIF Eve!!!
    Great news Dennis!
Kelly, hope you are getting a little relief on knee.
I believe it has been 10 days, are the pups eyes open?
Yes, I can remember when Good Friday was a holiday, believe we have gotten too politically correct in US where we now persecute Christians. Hope and pray that pendulum is beginning to swing back the other way.
    Enjoy the Day,

Happy birthday, Skip! Woot! Woot! I hope that you have a fantabulous birthday celebration today! Enjoy your free SBUX, and then go back and get another.

Super busy today in KC, but the plus side is that I prepare payroll today, and included will be the raise that I got for having been there for a year today! Woot for me!

    Good Morning BBB.
Looks like all day rain here - I suppose we need it for spring flowers and green.
It's a good day to finish preparing tax info for accountant.
Kelly - let us know what the doc says about your knee.
    Dennis - great eye news.
    Do good out there everyone.

    Morning BBB

    Happy birthday Skip.

Roofers arrived at 6:30 AM and don't speak English so had a fun time trying to get them to move the truck out of the drive so we could move cars. Salesman said they wouldn't start before 8.

    Morning BBB

Happy Birthday Skip!!! Enjoy your day! Cheers

We here still take Good Friday as a holiday off with pay, and have since always. We get 13 paid holidays off a yr, and Lucky in that way.

    Have a wonderful day, BBB

I have Friday off too. Which means today will likely be a 2pm out. Job fair from 11-1 so at least a busy day.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Happy Birthday Skip.
    • Happy Anniversary Steve.
    • You don't believe salesman do you Steph. At least you ARE getting a new roof.
    • Sam, I'm with you. It's time to reverse some of this PC stuff. God bless you.
    • Good luck with the Doc this afternoon Kelly.
    • Yesterdays good new with DWs Dr. was a true blessing. She is off to FL for a few weeks to nurse DFIL back to health. Emma and I are on our own.
    • I heard from the VA. I have an appt. next Tuesday with their appointed audiologist to check on a hearing aid.
    • Oh, Oh, I told my boss that I am retiring this summer!
    • Have a great day everyone.

    •Happy b-day Skip. Sing it.
•Good Fri is honored by many businesses especially on East Coast no change there.
•Dennis glad your eyes are healing as expected. Ps for DW and her checkup.

    Happy Birthday Skip!!!
    and Steph believed a salesman,
We get 13 paid holidays also but Good Friday is not one of them and neither is my birthday.
Dennis, I believe we have heard retirement from you before; like last year.
Taxes being done is overrated, especially when one owes.
I just looked I've got 8 doctor appointments over next 2 months, I believe that's about 7 to many; need olden days when one doctor took care of everything.

    Mornin' BBB.

Happy Birthday Skip! "Free SBux in bed" code for special B-day gift?

Day off and not going into work for first time in 2 months. Lots on "honey dew" list. Early training with Tess. She is such a joy. No word on pups since Sunday. Should be opening eyes soon. Hope to have new pictures soon to share.

Hope new roof turns out great, Steph.

DW begrudgingly allows 6 paid holidays. If it were up to me...but it isn't. Happy wife, happy life.

Bob, praying for strength for your DD. Bless her heart.

Dennis, good news on the eyes and also on retirement. Got any plans post retirement?

Sam, see a veterinarian for all around doctoring. Although it seems the new generation of veterinarians are referring to specialists for every little thing outside of routine preventative health care.

    Congrats on the raise, Steve!

Kelly, you are on depomedrol for knee?

    BBB OP ;-)

Sam, the original plan was to retire two years ago when I moved to Lake Country. When the breast cancer scare hit I didn't want to change insurance companies until we were through that challenge. I think we are ready.
Lee, I'm looking forward to being free to travel whenever the fever hits and putting (ROMEO (Retired Old Men Eating Out) on my calendar every Monday morning.

He thinks it's a torn minuscus even the the MRI didn't show it. I go back in 2weeks after the steroid wears off and we will go from there.
    Bob, praying for your daughter.

Oh gosh Kelly so sorry hope your knee improves presto pronto kiddo!!! Yup we pay plenty for imaging and then it doesn't show it all anyway it seems. In my case I think my synvisc shot helped me.

Dennis hoping for the best for you and your DW. Yeah the whole insurance company debacle just is ridiculous. My daughter got a bill (already paid) for something from two years ago.

Oh and (funny now but not yesterday) my daughter had her paycheck shorted by $4000 yesterday in addition to her cancer and having a tree fall on the neighbors deck rook with the wind storm. She saves all her receipts and could prove that she had not been previously paid and they apparently cut her a new check on the spot.
