Happy Easter everyone!!!!
I got a ton accomplished yesterday.
Put away the winter clothes pulled out spring. I am thinking positive that warmer weather is in my future. Lol
I got rid of a huge bag of old clothes in the basement. They were mostly my daughter's and husbands but a bag is a bag.

I did a bunch of upgrades on the computer last night have one left hoping that will let me do the spreadsheet when I am finished.

I love Easter as its just a let's get together for a meal holiday. We don't do candy or anything just very peaceful.

I bought the Jergens glow product to give my legs some color as I don't tan and come May we can wear sandals and no stockings. I will admit I am very nervous to try granted my legs can't look any worse. It will be better than looking blue. I should start soon in case it's horrible I can loofah it away. Lol
Have a great day everyone!

@2020pinktogo : I have been considering getting a self tanner. I spend all summer at work 6-7 days a week so I don't get to see the sun very much!

Yesterday I ended up enjoying the day, doing some yard work, & reading outside. We finished off the day with the first bonfire of the year & a few (too many) drinks. Today we will go to my mom's for turkey supper & hopefully not too many desserts...

    Today's goals
    -eat & drink in moderation.
-run 5km (ended up running 1km & walking 2. My feet keep falling asleep & driving me crazy...)
    -continue yard work

    Happy Easter everyone!

    Happy Easter,

Yesterday, we went down to Leavenworth, ate lunch at a famous Mongolian grill and did some window shopping. Today, everyone is meeting at the park for some Easter egg activities plus some wonderful food. I'm not to worry about bad food choices.

Today's goals are continue with healthy food choices and no late night snacking. I'm sure lots of exercise with the grandkids will happen!

Good morning flowers and Happy Easter !!!!

@GrandmaJackie I like your mellow approach to today. I think I'm stealing that idea ;)

Yesterday was just nuts. It was all fun and giggles until at 11 pm I couldn't even stand anymore. All goals achieved.

Today's another gorgeous day, I still have some things to do but I'm mostly focused on enjoying the holiday with the family. I put the deserts I made into MFP recipes and it's looking very extravagant. My goal for today is to indulge responsibly, stay active and have a good time.

    Let's have a fabulous Sunday !!!

Well the last thing worked I can now get back on the spread sheet which was good as I went up a half a lb this morning. Probably all soda I drank this past week to get through the week at work. Got to cut it out this week and see how we do.

My dad was in rare form today it's a good thing it ended up being just my mom, my daughter and I as he add libbed his prayer and we burst out laughing. We try to act better in front of my daughters boyfriend but my dad is really funny. My daughters boyfriend I would hope he has gotten use to our humor by now but I'm not quite sure. His family is just so perfect and we are not. Though I am the mom they call if there is a problem. LOL Till tomorrow!!! ;)

I got my steps today !! I got out to walk a LOT ! Food was better today than yesterday by FAR, i couldn't stop eating yesterday, TOM is due any day now so i know "WHY" at least. I also need to get myself off chocolate AGAIN !!! (((SMH))) I have an addiction and i need to pay more attention to what i am doing when my MIL brings out the goodies.

For the next 3 weeks I only have this challenge to be concerned with and that will be EASY. Work is its usual so no bumps in the road there. Just need to keep the exercises going. It looks like the weather is finally going to start cooperating too.
Come tomorrow I will have a new list of accountability tasks to tend to. Until then i hope you all have a great evening. See you all in the morning.

@2020pinktogo and @lpeltenburg - great idea to use a self-tanner instead of a tanning salon. I have pretty fair skin, so I have used them a lot in the past. They actually do work pretty well, but here's a couple tips:

    1. make sure to use a loofah a few hours BEFORE applying the lotion.
    2. make sure to rub it in REALLY well so it doesn't get streaky.
    3. avoid applying to your knees and elbows or they will be much darker than the rest of your legs/arms.
    4. wash your hands afterwards or you will have tan palms.

For the past couple years I have been taking an aquasize class in the mornings at least 3-4 times a week. In the months when the cover is off the pool, I have started getting an all-over tan without burning. I think the low intensity of the sun in the morning, combined with the reflection off the water has contributed to getting some color. I've actually had tan on my legs when I never have before. SO, if you have a chance to swim in an outdoor pool you might get a tan as a bonus to the workout. :)

I spent the last 2 days entertaining family. We had a brilliant time, but the weight has suffered. I will be working hard for the rest of the week to get back to where I was lol!

On the positive side, I have been exceedingly my steps goal each day and managing to stay in the green. And my house has had a great de clutter as I prepared for my guests.

@danelutza19 I tried to indulge responsibly, but not sure if I succeeded.

@2020pinktogo and @lpeltenburg - I have always had a problem with tanning. I tan okay but it always peels off within a week and looks ghastly, so I tended to self-tan. Don't bother any more, though. Who is going to be looking at my 70 year old legs, Lol!
