Recored driving time in fitbit not deleting steps from mfp

I have removed some steps from my fitbit when I was driving by recording driving in add exercise section. This correctly reduced the total steps on the fitbit. Problem is the reduction has not gone over to mfp and so mfp isnt reducing my remaining calorie balance. My diary in mfp shows the original reduced number of steps from fitbut, but says synced just now.

Actually I see that since I manually added the driving to the fitbit app the fitbit has stopped syncing with mpf altogether, it is just stuck on the preadjusted figure. I have diconnected, logged off, logged back on and reconnected but it still isnt syncing (although mfp does this the devices are connected)0
