MapMyRun on Gear

I've seen a few people post about using MapMyRun on Gear. Why do people use this on Gear? What advantage does it give over S Health data?
I actually switched away from MMR when I got my gear because starting a workout (Biking/Running) is way easier on the watch widget and now I just use S Health. Plus there are just too many health apps going on.

I use it because I'm using MyFitnessPal and MapMyRun as the main way for me to view my exercise and calorie data. Main driver was that S Health doesn't track heart rate for a general gym workout, whereas the Under Armour apps do.0

Honestly, I just like the little maps that MMR makes of my run/walk/hikes.0
