Say i want to run 30mins, out and back, i want the app to let me know i hit my 15min mark so i can turn around. It can be done but i have to change a bunch of settings and i'll lose when i hit my mile mark. Is there an easy way to do what i am asking?

I don't have the answer to that, but I have my own question so I'm piggybacking on your thread.
If I set my distance goal as 2 miles is there a way to tell it to stop the timer once I hit my designated goal instead of having to extricate the phone from my pocket & hit pause/stop?0 -
I don't have an answer to either of the questions, but I have one of my own. I can see a pattern developing here...
I use Endomondo to track my cycling. When I get to a red light (far too often during my commute), is there a way for Endomondo to realize that I have come to a complete stop and pause the timer? The frequent stops really do not do justice to my average speed/kms per hour.0 -
I do a 3 mile loop --- I'm just getting back into running so I'm only having it announce the mile marks but not the time or pace.0

For all of the questions so far... Your best bet to get an answer and to ask your questions is to go to the help section (bottom of webpage) on Endomondo.com In some cases to do things you will need to have the pro version of the app.
@johnlatv... I think this answers your question: https://getsatisfaction.com/endomondo/topics/audio_coach_how_does_it_work?utm_medium=widget&utm_source=widget_endomondo
@Larua6887... This I believe answers your's: https://getsatisfaction.com/endomondo/topics/automatically_stop_when_you_reach_the_end_of_a_course
@ 1Heathen... Auto Pause is what you are looking for: https://getsatisfaction.com/endomondo/topics/auto_pause_how_does_it_work?utm_medium=widget&utm_source=widget_endomondo
Hope this helps... For any other questions just type your question at the top of those pages in the "Search Topic" box.

Thanks BigDog! What that link told me is that there are a bunch of other people who wish it had that same feature (but it apparently doesn't).
In the meantime, I bought a Garmin GPS watch. I have Endomondo run too because I like the verbal mileage reminders, but I use Garmin to track distance since that seems to be more reliable.0
