Im trying to get my head back in the weight loss game. I have been restarting a better way of eating every Monday for the last several - but seem to fail somewhat by Thursday.... With that, reality for me right now is I can't do this alone, if I could... I would be. Which is why I'm thinking of resigning with WW'rs. Anyway:

In cutting back on carbs (my biggest enemy) and limiting to one measured serving per day, I made this for dinner last night and it was outstanding.

Asian chicken lettuce wraps and they were delish! 1LB ground chicken breast browned with 4 thin chopped scallions, a couple stalks of thin sliced celery, 1/2 C of diced carrots, cooked stove top in a tabl spoon of evoo until cooked and tender. If I had some fresh basil I would chop and add that next time. Then I mixed light soy sauce, 1tabl sesame oil, minced garlic, a couple of dolaps of siracha hot chili sauce, mixed well and stirred into pan of ground meat mixture and warmed. I wrapped the meat mix into boston lettuce leaves. Scored a A, SO loved it too!

My new thing is going to be this tendor fresh boston head lettuce to use as a wrap ! For even cold lunch type sandwich fixing with it, instead of bread / carbs!

What little carb replacements / switches do you guys have in your arsenal ?

Chili over broccoli instead of chili over pasta :D

The majority of carbs that I eat are from fruit and dark chocolate covered caramels - I had to cut out most bread as it was my weakness and I was eating way too much.

Low carb pitas and wraps. Rarely have pasta or real bread. Bagels at the office are so tempting, but I am usually successful in avoiding having one.

My lunch has been a lettuce wrap. Lettuce and turkey. Pretty good actually.
I'm on the low carb diet right now. Today is day 5. I'm rocking it.
I have a plan for eating out tonight too.

I put chicken salad on a bed of lettuce quite often. I also serve lean proteins with both a side of veggies and a side of fruit usually, instead of a starch. My lunch today is a creamy potato soup that actually has very little potato in it, but instead has lots of pureed yellow squash, fat free milk, and crispy turkey bacon.

We regularly do slow carb which balances protein, veggies and either beans or lentils at every meal. Only red wine daily but Saturday you spike your sugars and eat whatever you want.

The beans feed my need for bread. Works well when I'm not so stressed and have a cocktail most nights. I had lost 25# in ~4 weeks from around Christmas. Then mom died and I lost my job so.... need to get my head back in the game.

    Go to meals.
Chicken diced and sprinkled with dried ranch powder, roasted green beans with bacon and garlic, red beans

Pork chops with cuban and red pepper, green beans as above and red beans.

Lentil soup with pork loin. Recipe on food network

Ground beef, rotel, corn and red beans. Sometimes over lettuce as a taco salad.

Breakfast cassarole made on Sunday for the whole week. 2 can black beans, sausage, peppers and onion and eggs.

Lunch is spinach and mixed greens with a hard boiled eggs, sunflowers seeds, flax seeds and rotisserie chicken all prepped on Sunday.

Mostly I have all meals prepped on Sunday so there is no what can we have. Also I just don't buy things I don't want to eat. On the high carbon day I just buy exactly what we are having or we eat out.

Works for us but I really don't mind having the same breakfast and lunch everyday.
