Hello New Friends!

I hope to meet all of you if I have not already. Please be patient as I pair everyones name with faces. I am meeting so many new people since the studio opened and I find myself having to ask, "remind me of your name again". Please introduce yourself to me as I see you in class.

Now about me.... I will be married 12 years in May. I have an amazing husband who is my high school sweetheart; Two super cute and cool kids: Aubree - 10, Gibson - 7.

I began my journey in fitness after I had my second child. I hated working and spending too much on daycare. So I quit my office job and began working as a volunteer at a local gym to get a free gym membership. A year later after gaining my self confidence back I was offered an opportunity to take a course to start teaching classes. From there I studied long days and nights for my ACSM Personal Training Certification and began doing onsite corporate wellness, group exercise and personal training. 5 years later I still take educational classes, am certified in Personal Training and working towards my Precision Nutrition Certification. When I learned that OT was opening in my backyard how could I not approach them to join my fellow Shorewoodians and help coach you all into a healthier lifestyle.

My family and I follow a pescetarian lifestyle. (vegetarians who eat fish). We have followed this for almost 4 years after my husband went on an elimination diet for migraines. He discovered he has a flouride allergy (no tap water for him) but we already were set with a pesca lifestyle and decided to stick with it. We do miss meat occasionally and will eat it again, someday. No judgement here how you get your protein so don't worry :)

I had ankle surgery about 6months ago to remove a freakish extra bone in my ankle. This was discovered after a sprain a year ago. I am slowly getting back into running and jumping again and more importantly wearing heels again :)

My family and I love to bike so when not in the studio, I hope to see you on the trails this community has to offer.

That is it for now, if you want to know anything, just ask!
