Lots of meetings today and coordination with contractors at VFW for our Derby Party. My seersucker arrived yesterday - I'm so gonna kill this shin dig!
Snowflake message is what we are all saying (under our breath), Lee. 14 (I counted them) emails about why I wouldn't give a B+ student an A. They had earned an 89.33 - which is not a 90.... Sorry, no curve here. Grow up buttercup....
T-minus 5 days before DF arrives and we begin our trek....

Training last evening - Jack had a blast!
ORE on Monday. They are collapsing parts of a convention and entertainment complex that was built in 1954 and we are using as a real-time disaster incident. IL, MI and IN will be involved. Big fun!

Yup prayers for all our BBBers and their friends and family. We went from no official highs at the airport above 69deg to something in the 80s yesterday. It was 85 deg at my house with a previous high for the year of about 70 and lots of days in the 50s and low 60s.0

I've learned honeydo brownie points only last till honey decides she wants something else done, there are no saving or banking them.
Well 86 is more than 85 and I can't understand why it does not round up to 90. Are you telling me everyone does not get an "A", then I'm not going to take your course again.

I was very bad on my eating yesterday, but it was Dennis's fault, one knows nothing is ever my fault and I should get an A for thinking about eating properly. Went and got wings last night, not as warm as I like but DMIL and DW enjoyed them; and of course as DMIL said one cannot eat wings without beer. But DW had unsweet tea, and if I had regular southern sweet tea it would have been more points than a Ultra beer. For some reason most in the South believe sweet tea should be almost like drinking syrup.
After a couple of days where temps were near 90, pool is opened and we have rain with highs in 50's approaching.
Waiting to hear song and verse.
Full yoga class yesterday afternoon, cannot handle more without a room stretcher.
Seems left eye is getting weaker from incidents, will wait till it stabilizes before ordering new glasses.
Tis TGIF Eve, except for Mary who is being a slacker and today is her TGIF.

Using a curve does not help a wit either. At our local medical school it was not unusual for 95% being a middle "B" grade because of the curve. I like the idea of having specific standards and goals for a course and when you meet them you get the requisite grade.0

Of course he's going to get two gifts, and yes steak is on the menu too, and cake. This man hasn't ever had a personalized birthday cake from me, that all changes now. I asked a month ago if he could pick any birthday cake he wanted, what would it be? : chocolate layers, with vanilla buttercream and sprinkles/chocolate jimmies. So that's what he getting! And concert tickets, and dinner out and a supper club on a lake, and desert in, and just all around tlc all weekend long. Im gifting for extra credit LOL, seems the thing to do!!! 0
