Women's knickers for sports

I need some decent, comfy knickers for the gym: plain, no lace etc. I tried some M&S "flexfit" ones but the gusset is just not wide enough and it was really uncomfortable on the spin bike!
Does anyone have any recs? I exercise a lot so need something comfy and practical: I don't mind paying more for quality that has a personal rec.

Wear cycling shorts for Spinning and then knickers are superfluous.0
