Good Morning,
Busy times in BBB land.
Meeting dad, Vegas, Job interviews, Fla, Searching through ruins, spreading dirt, laying sod, putting out spring flowers, tulip festival, prepping hay bales; at least no one's talking about shoveling snow.
DMIL told me she was going to water the beans and squash, I told her not to water the tomatoes because I had just hoed them and okra and did not want weeds I dug to get set.
I look out she has water set on hose nozzle to jet stream and has knocked every bloom beans had them off and plants were laying down in dirt; squash was laying over with blooms laying in rows. Seems she did not want to walk down row. She told me she was keeping ferns on porch watered, water flowed straight through pot; had to put them in bucket to soak where soil would get wet. Hope my herbs survive where she dug and broke them up with water.
Enjoy the Day,
Sam I am0 -

Mom did her first dialysis yesterday. More scheduled for today, and for Wednesday. She seems to be doing a little better last night, but her spirits are down, as she will be going through another life style change. She beat stage

Good morning.
Prayers for your mom, Steve.
We've scheduled a trip to Holland, MI this weekend to go to the tulip festival. Several years ago we went there after it had apparently just wrapped up. Maybe I'll stalk another one of Lisa's meetings to throw her off her game again.1 -
I doubt much throws Lisa off her game, Lou. Just sayin....

Oh I can see the "two Ls" causing a stir in tulip land. Just sayin'0
-
Lou could be no worst than going to a Catholic or Episcopal service and shouting Hallelujah or Amen in middle of service.0
-
Well, those words Sam mentions, are way better than the words my Lutheran mouth shouted out 31 years ago at a Catholic Easter Sunday mass I was a visitor at , as my babies bottle of formula tipped over, onto the down sloped pew, leaking out formula, running down the entire length of the pew, as the parish was in "stand up mode", and was just about to sit down once again - sigh. I can laugh about now.0

Hi all.
Waiting for my rise to the airport. 7 rounds of interviews this morning. I assume i will get am offee but it means moving either to Chicago or a city on the west coast or at least western with a major airport. I can pretty much name the one o want.
Also got a call back for the travelling job with the company that bought us. He left a message and not sure if I will have time to call today.
Hopefully something is happening.1 -
Afternoon BBB.
Glad Emma is better. Do they think she hurt her neck because the ears made her shake her head too violently?
Have fun with yer dad, Skip.
DMIL. Oy.

Good luck steph.
Mary, what did you shout out??
I'm enjoying peace and quiet as my entire family is in Mexico. No pop ins until may 20th. Ha.

My Dad (red hat) and his Vietnam Commander (red sweater) reunited after 47 years - receiving an award from our Post VFW today - hallmark of 50 year commemoration of the Vietnam conflict. Was a nice ceremony. Those two warbirds talked for THREE straight hours. They were tickled to have been reunited. It was a great experience to watch!

"Ohshit". My ex was really made at me for the shout out, so I left the service with the baby and he stayed behind to find some paper toweling. In my defense therafter, I told my ex get over it, hey, it could've been much worse, be happy I didn't shout out and use Gods name in vane.. He was none to pleased with my defense. Im forgiven, Im sure of it. The Catholic church has way bigger fish to fry? That was the last time I visited that church though.0
-
P.S. I knew Kelly would be the one to ask me what I shouted LOL ;: !!! That's my girl!!!

Ha. Better than throwing the F BOMB.0
-
- Mary, I'm sure you are forgiven. Much bigger fish.
- Skip, I would have loved to have heard the war stories.
- Steph, I hope you get the right job offer.
- Lee, Emma violently shakes her head if you mess with her ears so l'm sure your right. Doc called back today and labs point to a urinary infection too. Jeesh.
