@mari_moulin, glad the cleaning is still going well and you're starting to see order in the chaos.
@debbieinca, glad you've almost made it to the end of the school year and you're coming up with a good plan for the summer. That sounds great!
@TerriRichardson112, I hear you! Really good homemade sweets have definitely been a nemesis of mine over the years. I'm trying to be a lot more mindful these days and still enjoy it (because I wouldn't be happy if I eliminated all of that sort of thing, I know I'd feel deprived) but in reasonable quantities.
@danelutza19, how interesting! Of all possible side effects to a drug, one that helps you lose weight (in a non-drastic and scary way) sounds pretyt great. Plus, hormone balance sounds excellent too! Glad you were able to accomplish all your goals.
@GrandmaJackie, glad you got so much accomplished yesterday. I've still never eaten at a Five Guys, but I'll manage it eventually. Not sure I could have avoided eating lots of fries, though. Sounds like an awesome Mother's Day present! I hope you enjoy it.
@kimmysue100, great job working on sticking to your goals throughout the week. Hope you and your sister enjoy the concert!
@kenda2427, hang in there!
@jdelaroy, sorry your boring meeting was made worse by rush hour! Mine was actually shorter than I thought (still ran over, but only by 30 minutes rather than an hour or more). And people seemed to be open to improvements to make it shorter, which gives me more hope than I had last week. It's definitely nice to share goals and check in with a group like this.
@2020pinktogo, hugs to you and your family. Glad your mom's appointment went well and your grandmother is staying where she can be cared for. Hope your dentist appointment goes well.
I'm glad we've made it to Friday! I've got a number of tasks on my to do list for today, and then I'm looking forward to the weekend.
Tomorrow, I'm attending Ottawa ComicCon for a special Doctor Who panel with Peter Capaldi (the Twelfth Doctor), Alex Kingston (River Song), and Jenna Coleman (Clara Oswald). I'm super excited about the opportunity to hear what they have to say and see them in person! I decided not to spend all the money on the photo ops and autographs and stuff, but I'm going to go thoroughly enjoy myself for the panel.
Hope you all have awesome plans for the weekend.

@fitphoenix Sounds like a fun convention. I hope you enjoy it tremendously.
So this past week I have had an okay week with goals. Not great, not bad. Yesterday I had grand plans to get things done. Well my meeting went longer, and ended up with more work, so no lunch walk, not as good food choice. Then traffic was yucky after work, so my after work walk was cut short. The BF got off early, and decided to take me to dinner before roller skating. I couldn't say no. I didn't get a lot of time alone with him. It was a great time. I also got some great compliments yesterday.
After work I go pick up the kids from school. I usually get there between 10-20 minutes early. So I take this time to walk around the school. I've been doing it since the beginning of the school year. Well one of the other moms stopped me to tell me her and her friend noticed how good I am looking compared to the beginning of the year, and asked about how much walking has helped me. Her and her friend have started walking because of me.! Who knew I could inspire someone?
Last night at roller skating, the speed skater instructor (He skates adult night) came up to me and told me how much I have improved since I started roller skating, and had me try some new forms that will help me speed up. It is also really good for your core muscles. (I have none.) I've only ever been a mediocre skater, and have been trying to teach myself to be a better one. I guess it is working.
Yesterday's Goals:
Under Calories Yep, barely
20000 steps Yep
Gym time No, did date time instead, so worth it.

Good morning flowers!!!
@jdelaroy I loved reading your post! Just goes to show how many changes (that we are unaware off) take place under the hood. I can relate to your NSV about skating, it's rewarding to see we can still pick up new skills and become better. As far as motivating others, that's by far the best one: follow your path and inevitably others will be inspired. Remember that when you need extra motivation: someone is always watching and learning from you.
Yesterday was such a nice day. We got to enjoy being outdoors in short sleeves I managed to hit all my goals.
The daily weight drop honeymoon is over but the scale is still cooperating nicely. The goals for today are the same ones as ever: eat within calories/macros, train, do chin-ups, 10,000 steps, water and good sleep.
Let's have a fabulous Friday!!!0 -
You are all doing an awesome job on your goals !!!
I hope you all take the time to ENJOY your weekend.
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO YOU ALL
goals are still the same and still working out so far today.0 -
Basically I am just staying strong for my mom. Yesterday was my late start at work and mom texted they were off to the hospital. So I met them there and stayed with them a few hours before work. It made it a really long and tiresome day.
Today I have laundry over. Mom gave me a list for groceries she needs. So I will do both our shopping drop it off at her house. Then head up to the hospital. We will see what happens.
No weight loss this week I am exhausted I feel like I have aged a lot this past week not like a fine wine or cheese more like an old crumbly cookie.0 -
@2020pinktogo hugs. Hang in there. I think you need to plan yourself a nap.0

@2020pinktogo Prayers being sent your way Hun. Try to take a few minutes to clear your head and go for a walk. Even if its at the Hospital. Go climb the stairs or walk the perimeter just to get away and calm your thoughts for a short while. Hoping everything calms for you soon. Stresses like that are tough.0
