Theme: WEEKEND!

Hard to believe, but we are entering our third and final week of Sit Less Boot Camp. I've saved a few of my favorite, and our most popular challenges, for this week. And we have a brand new challenge coming up tomorrow. I think you'll like it.

Today's Challenge: Let's keep the activity going! Enjoy your Sunday but please make it an active day. How will you spend today?

And Happy Mother's Day!

It's raining so I think I'll be on my treadmill today, walking slowly as I read my e-book. Before I really started sitting less, I only used my treadmill to walk at an aerobic pace. Now I use it a lot more and I'm reading a lot more too!

If you could see yourself reading and walking but you don't have a treadmill, quality used treadmills are readily available at garage sales and through Craig's list.

Beautiful day here, already got one walk in with DH this morning. Plan to listen to a podcast that is about an hr. long this afternoon, walking while listening. And DH and I will also do another short walk after dinner, he is T2D, and even shorter walks help his numbers.

I recently found a bigger loop on my daily walk. Today I was going back and forth if I wanted to keep it shorter, but then thought how proud my mom is going to be of me when I tell her today about all these changes I am making, and my new loop! So I pushed on! Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there! And especially to one amazing Aunt who is super inspirational <3

I'm actually taking it easy today. I've got a walking challenge at work next week where groups of 10 employees are trying to walk the most steps Monday-Friday. So I want to have a rest day today and then go at it hard starting tomorrow. I'm still making sure to get 10K steps today and to get at least a few minutes or walking or standing in each hour.

I went on a 5 mile walk this morning. Weight lifted after lunch. Busy cleaning after my daughter left. And getting ready for an evening walk!

had a great workout with my mom who is here visiting. We had the music pumping and got in a proper sweat fest. Then we celebrated my daughter's 25th birthday - plenty of running around all day and healthy food. A lovely day in spite of the rain.

I got in 7834 steps, which might not be much by others' standards but it's really good for me! I have bum knees and didn't sit down all day until 8:00pm. Was a wonderful day spent gardening and shopping for flowers, cleaning the yard and flower beds! Was a really good day that feels successful to me.

7834 steps is great! Achy joints and other medical issues can limit what we can do. It's sounds like you had an active and fun day!

You did great. I know about bum knees, I had a total knee replace on April 6th. just getting back to walking.
Finished off the day at 6421 steps....my best to date... My goal today is to just beat that, lol. I have PT today so we shall see...

My husband had a knee replacement and it was very slow going for him. I think 6400 steps with a 6-week old new knee is fantastic! Good for you!

Thank you and @themedalist for your kind words! :)

Sundays are my grocery shopping days. I make a wide circle visiting all of the grocery stores in my area so I get in plenty of steps that day. (As you can see this is late so my Sunday was a busy one lol)

Thank you for another great, inspiring article. It just reinforces what we're trying to so.
I was getting ready for our garage sale again today. I'm doing really well.
