Negative calories and log workout?

I'm new to the fitbit world. I have enabled the negative calories on MFP. Do I still log my workouts in MFP or do I only go by whatever my fitbit picks up from the workout.
Also, does it make sense that I had 10500 steps but -28 calories?
thanks!

If you have enabled negative calories and have the two sync'd...fitbit and MFP then no you don't have to log your exercise here.
As for the steps vs -28 calories doesn't sound like the two are linked or didn't sync properly.0 -
Both would benefit reading the FAQ in the stickies to understand what is going on.
Negative calories enabled and logging workouts in MFP aren't related at all.
If you had that many steps, but still negative adjustment - it means you have MFP selected for an Activity Level that is higher in calorie burn than Fitbit is reporting you have actually done.
If this occurred mid-day - it could adjust out eventually - but perhaps not.
As to logging workouts in Fitbit (that's better place if the need to be) - depends on your device, HR based or not exercise calorie burns.
FAQ explains in that question on logging which to be used.
If you want MFP world to see your workouts - just a make a wall post with more detail than logging a workout would provide - more inspiring to others too.2 -
1st question: let the Fitbit transmit your activity data. You don't need to log exercise in MFP.
2nd question: that really depends on your stated activity level in MFP. The -28 means that thru the course of the day, you moved a little less than your stated activity level. IF you were set to active or highly active, you'll have to move more to earn a positive adjustment. If you're set to sedentary or lightly active, you'll earn a positive adjustment with less movement than if you're active or higher.dickie3417 wrote: »I'm new to the fitbit world.
