Charge 2 suddenly logging sleep -charge HR method

The charge 2 was logging sleep with the REM deep light etc method. All of a sudden it switched to the charge HR method- awake restless etc. has anyone experienced this?

    mine did that for 3 days last week (but I have a Blaze). I turned off my FitBit, turned it back on, and made sure it was fully charged. Support also said NOT to hit the 'start sleeping' option on my app AND to ensure 'all day sync' is on.

    Magically after 3 days of the 'old' sleep tracking it went back to the new tracking

    Mine switched back to the old method last night!

    I have all day sync off to save battery off my phone and my fitbit and it's never been an issue.

    Mine switched back again to the new method last night. ;) (I'm OK either way actually; I like different things about each.)

    Mine logs nap the old way, interestingly.

    When I read through the tips, it said you have to be asleep at least four hours for it to log the new way.

    I've noticed if I go a few days without syncing, the previous days will be logged old.
