Android fitbit app issue

I'm 6 foot tall but in the app it shows 5 foot tall and won't let me save my actual height. On the actual fitbit site it has my correct info. Everything else on the app is correct. I just don't want it calculating my burn based on being 5 foot tall. Anyone experience this?

The device is what calculates actual calories, the weight/height info is used in figures passed on to device to use.

But if the app is what is used to sync with the device - then it likely was given wrong info.

Your web account syncs to app server, your app syncs to app server.

Sounds like a disconnect between those servers and your app.

I'd close out of the app. Remove it.
    Then install as new.

While it's off device - confirm web account has correct data.

When you install as new, it should receive all your personal info from app server getting it from account server.

That seems to have done it. Thanks.
