In the weekly Warrior Mini-Goal Challenge focus on your short term goals.
Focusing on one week at a time, when the big picture seems too overwhelming. Small changes can bring on big results!!
Choose one or more things you want to work on for just this week. Don't set it too high or unreachable!!
Please, make sure your week works for you. Sun to Sat or Mon to Sun, whatever is YOUR week!
You can reach your main goal if you break it into small actionable steps. It could be as easy as 1-2-3!
1) Choose something you know you can do easily.
2) Add more difficult tasks to your plan.
3) These small steps will get you started, motivated & help build routine for long term success!!
Anyone interested in joining us for another week, or a first week, or a get back on track week?
Check in often, have a great week and do the best you can!

Hello Everyone, I am back early! one more week and I will be back full time. Still doing WW but not tracking with them anymore. Saw my Primary care physician this Saturday and I am going to try her suggestions. 1st thing she wanted me to do is eat under 100g carbs. To get to that point I am going to start at 150g and decrease by 10 weekly. That is why for a month or so that is all I am going to focus on is the carb count. Eventually she wants me to get down to 50g. I did this right after my WLS so I am going to do it again. Once I get that down, I will move on to her next recommendation of replacing one of my meals specifically lunch with a Protien shake. How many of you are keeping your carb count low - between 20g to 50g? If not that low, how may of you are doing a low carb program. She gave me a lot to read and I already know low carb is good for us. She wants me to focus on this way of eating for life. No matter what program I use. Keep up the good work!! and never never give up. Hope Everyone is doing good
Goal to stay under 150 grams of carbs:
Mon
Tue
Wed
Thu
Fri
Sat
Sun

HI Molly - thanks for getting us started. Your plan sounds solid. Reducing your carbs will make a difference. Doing it by smaller steps will help.
I did lower carbs in the levels you are talking about. I found success with under 50 g. Once in a while I got as low as 20 but that is pretty restrictive. I may go back to that soon.
Good luck this week. I will check back in soon.1 -
Hey Molly,
Hey Hearts
How is your week going? It was a short one for me and at the same time very long.
I am going to start on Monday to do the low carb thing and try to stay close to 50 g but will see how it goes. I just have to look back and see how I planned that stuff out. I know I had a lot of salads with lean and grilled meats and limited those starchy things.
Have a great weekend and looking forward to checking in with good thoughts next week2
