Confession is good for the soul and the scale

So, I had a 2 pound gain this week. Am I surprised, at first yes. But I knew good and well having cookies and Cheetos in the house was basically an open invitation for weight gain. We ate out on Thursday night, but I stayed within plan. Of course too much sodium was a killer. Saturday night we ate bbq at a graduation party, I still stayed within my plan. Sunday we had pizza, cheetos, cookies oh my. I was not in my plan. Opted for diet soda instead of water. Monday, on plan except for cheetos and finishing off those cookies. So there you have it. No excuses, no one forced me to eat and the scale was merely a reflection of the last few days. We all have our trips and falls. Just admit them, accept them, forgive yourself and move on.
