Long weekend ahead....Arts/Crafts festival in town (VFW sits in the middle)....All hands on deck weekend for fundraiser/recruitment. I'm already exhausted.... Hope the rain holds out.
Good luck with DS Graduation Party! Hard to believe.....what are his plans for the fall?

And my 3 S's have been handled.
Easy ride in this morning (only 59 minutes), shame will not be same this afternoon.
Plus will have youngest DGS riding home with me, we are keeping for weekend while DD and DSIL go hang gliding.
Know there is going to be a SUPER party at the Moody's this evening.
Steph cultural as well as Steve, I enjoy the arts from afar.
Lisa, Skip, sometimes we have to step back sit down and and observe the world around; cherish people and events, we do not necessarily need to always be in the driver's seat. See who will step up and blossom.
Lee, hope you enjoyed your day off and got lots done. Rhododendrons look great, we are too far south for them to live.
Mary if I can figure out how I'll post some pictures of my vegetable garden, most flowers are already gone with heat.
And I assume the pea-ness envy continues, I'm content with God's blessing and my squash and tomatoes look great.

"My 3 S's have been handled ?"
Big party tonight. I work until noon. Party is from 6-9. Will last later though. Big crowd expected. About 100 with both our families plus friends. Guessing around 150. Lots to do. Lots. I need a drink to calm my nerves.
Ds will be living downtown Indy and going to school at IUPUI. He has changed his major several times but got accepted into the Purdue school of engineering.
My life will be taking a dramatic change soon. Looking forward to what God has in store for me next. Woo hoo.

Drove into work almost an hour early. Busy times at work.
Mom is still in rehab, and somewhat discouraged, but haning in there. I will see her again tomorrow morning.

Good Morning BBB.
I stayed up late last night - out of my normal schedule with Tom away. Today I will fit in picking up the "dog stuff" from friends that share a steer each year. Bones, organ meats and other goodies.
Kelly - if it were possible I would have gone with Tom to Indy and helped you with the big graduation bash. Judging from the cake I'm sure it will be wonderful.
Sam - enjoy your grandson.
Lee - I have both flower and veggie envy - the deer here are ruthless - even though we are fenced they jump in twice a day to feast - almost every growing thing is a succulent morsel for them.
Bill - it will be wild at the VFW - I know you are a fine ringmaster.
Mary - enjoy your yard and the fruits of all your labor.
Prayers continue for all that are in need.

Kelly, life changing at this point, with the kids growing up is a good thing, or can be anyway!
Nice grad cake by the way lol!!! Enjoy the party, have a pregame beer or two....bet your yard/pool looks great! Have fun. Congrats to you and Gary both, you have two fine young men to be very proud of!
Out of town wedding bliss, as guests, for us this weekend. Depart early Sat. morning, back home noonish Sunday. Should be a blast. Hope the rain holds out, ceremony is outside at the brides parents lake home property about an hour west of here. Back up plan is move it inside to the country club where the dinner/reception is being held. We have over night accomodations at the local hotel. Shuttles to and from, so no need to drive.
Sam enjoy the dgs overnight stay! Skip hope you sign up lots of new members.

Thanks, Mary! We are so close to getting "All-American" VFW....we have to sign up another 25 or so members by June 15.... Fingers crossed. We've all worked hard to get to this point - so its within grasp....

- Trip to the Dentist yesterday was routine.
- Congratulations to DS Kelly. I admit I had to look up IUPUI. Purdue was on my short list many years ago. They have/had an excellent Logistics Management program.
- The flowers look great Lee. Emma is back at the Vet this morning. Very lethargic.
- Mary, after all your yard work a fun weekend is in order.
- Sam, hoping you have an easy commute this afternoon. I am working in the Lake County office today.
- Special ladies in KS and OR are in my prayers.

Emma is back from the Vet. She has a urinary tract infection. She has more medicine so hopefully she'll start improving. Poor girl is getting old.0
