Hi all. Looks like a lot of us are having a new start this month. But as long as we keep trying, we will prevail!

@MonicaA2013 I do all of my workouts at home using YouTube videos (I like fitnessblender and PopSugar) or Darabee worksheets. I hate wasting time travelling to and from a gym, and it's free! I improvised weights at first, but then treated myself to a set of dumbbells when I lost the first 20 lbs. I also have a set of power bands.
@mari_moulin Love the back yard pictures. Great veg plots! We have also been spending a lot of time on our planting. Our plot is quite established with lots of trees for shade.
@fitphoenix Have a great time at the cottage with your friends.
@GrandmaJackie I tend to plan and pre-log my food, and include snacks for the day, depending on what I have in the larder. It helps me balance my macros and make sure I get my protein and micros right. I do add a little, but only a small %age of my burns.

I finally started working on my saddlebags yesterday. I'm hoping to notice a difference after a week or so. Hip and thigh sag is the worst!!! I had my last Shakespeare Study meeting of the Semester yesterday afternoon. Today I'm going to Parchment Craft after lunch. Next week will be busy, and then it will mostly be much more relaxed until September. I'm off to Cambridge at the end of June for a week, then Dublin for the day on 8 July, then the summer is mine!

Have a great weekend.

Good morning all, the weekend is almost here thankfully!
@TerriRichardson112 every day you amaze me with all the stuff you do. You are one active busy lady.

It's been a difficult week, work has been horrible and stressful, my dog is getting much worse health wise and I am afraid the time is very near to having to put him to rest. So lots of stress, little sleep and lots of sadness. I haven't gotten my exercise in and my eating is stress induced terrible. I am trying not to beat myself up and add to the stress but its difficult because I was doing so well last challenge. And its raining to top it all off. Dear me aren't I just all "woe is me" today. I apologize for being a Debbie Downer.

Looking forward to the weekend just to be out of the office and hopefully get to spend some good time outside in the sun.

    Today's goals:
    get through my workday
try to get my furbaby into the vet a day early
    not eat my face off

Hope everyone has a fantastic Friday

@Kenda2427 ((((Hugs)))) there is no need to apologize for your feelings. They are perfectly normal, understandable and necessary! Anyone of us would be feeling the same dealing with what you are dealing with. I am so sorry that you are going through the loss of a loved one. It is even okay to not be on track right now. You are a strong woman, and when you have had time to morn and get rid of some of the stress you will get back on this wagon. When you have a moment, please take a few minutes to sit, breathe, reflect and just feel.

I had an okay day yesterday. Somehow I came close to being under calories, if you count my roller skating. :) My scale shows I gained 3 pounds in one day. I just laughed and got in the shower. I know I am retaining some water, and Shark week is fast approaching. I am doing a 7K tomorrow. I would like to try and run 1 mile/walk 1 mile through the whole thing. So basically run half of it. Wish me luck

    Yesterday's goals:
My goals for today are going to be simple. (clearly not, I didn't do them all)
    Do 100 squats :)
Plan my month, exercise routine :(
    day 1 of 30 day balance :(
    Roller skate :)

    Today's Goals:
    Plan my month exercise routine
    16667 steps
    Stay at maintenance.

    Saturday's Goals:
    Walk/Run 7k
    16667 Steps
    Stay in the green
    100 Squats

    Sunday's Goals:
    Weigh in (For family contest)
    16667 Steps
    Roller Skate
    Stay in the green
    100 squats
    Start Balance sheet
    Lawn Mowed
    Pantry cleaned

I hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend.

    Good morning flowers!!!

@TerriRichardson112 amazing plans and goals as usual!!!

@Kenda2427 when circumstances aren't friendly the best we can do will have to do.

@jdelaroy I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your 7k. Have a blast!!!

Yesterday I wanted a special day considering it was children's day. After the dentist appointment things took a bad turn. While getting my fillings in, the anesthetic wasn't perfect so they gave me extra... I couldn't feel my right ear and eye. Once the numbness disappeared, I was left with a pounding headache. I did the best I could, took my daughter to the gym's outside pool and had fun. Once it came time for training, things backfired on me. I did my warmup, went through the usual circuit and when I got to the main lifts, I only completed 8 rounds out of 10. My head was pounding so bad between sets that I didn't feel safe continuing.
Yesterday was one low day. At least calories turned ok.

Today feels like an aftershock after yesterday's troubles. I'm going to go by feel and do the best I can. Goals are the same: eat within calories/macros, training, chin-ups, steps, water and good sleep.

    Let's have a fabulous Friday!!!
