Sorry I haven't been around much ... I need to read and catch up for the week! But I'll go off yesterdays posts for now.
Skip, how was the party? What were these questionable gifts? Inquiring minds want to know!
Sam, are you subbing, or do you have a regular WW gig now? We've had amazing meetings this month. Huge. Lots of success and deep conversation. In the past 2 weeks, I've had 6 new LT members and 3 new at-goals. People are killin' it!
I'm glad your job stuff is doing well right now, Steph. Enjoy the travels!
LOVE the pics from the set, Raine! Jack the superstar!!! You can so tell that everyone loves him, and I know they love you, too.
Hello, Dennis! Fancy shmancy new tires, huh? Cool, man.
Mary, I agree that you are making your home sooooooooo warm and beautiful and welcoming. I love seeing all the pictures you post!
((((Lee))))) Here's to you getting some rest today, too!
Let's see ...
* we've decided on a venue for the wedding
* I'm leading a Spouses Support meeting at WW on Saturday and Tuesday (different locations) that I'm excited about
* Jim had a wonderful birthday and liked all the gifts I got him
* my knees are still hurting so my running has been thwarted ... slowed down, really. I'm not giving up, but I'm having more rest days than I was before. This ticks me off because I am NOT old and I am not overweight. My knees should be fine. Razzle frazzle!
* In 2 weeks we're having another leader get-together .. this time in NC at my bff's house. I can't wait!!! I need to come up with a gift for the gift exchange. Last year I made a cool picture frame with Holland stuff around it, and put a sexy (funny) photo of Jim in it. I need to try to top that, which will be difficult for sure! It was HILARIOUS!
I'm off to get ready for work. Hugs all around!

Mornin' BBB.
So sorry about your mom, Steve. Sincerest condolences.
Lisa, sore knees from running usually means a couple of things: poor running technique and not having a good/well fitted running shoe.
So cool how much you love your jobs, Lisa and Steph. Me too. Although, sometimes for me it becomes a runaway train, LOL.
Really cool montage video of Jack, Raine. He is such a super star.
Sun came out yesterday and is already shining today. Nice.
Details Skip.

Poor running technique? You mean there's more to it than just "go and try not to puke"? Hmmm ... this could very well be my problem ...0

Morning Gang!
Dragging.... Didn't hit the hay until nearly 1a.
School party was awesome (over 300 staff, parents, kids showed up)! Great speeches and presentations and a flash mob to "Powers of Love" in 80's garb by the students. PRICELESS!
The party I hosted drew over 150! DW was happy and worked the room beautifully. Felt like our wedding (we paid for the food and didn't have time to eat it)! Everyone (DMIL included) was happy! Her gifts went off without a hitch! Created quite the scene inside that spilled outside.....New LV Purse with keys inside to her new Jeep Grand Cherokee....

Lisa~
Awesome to hear the great stories from you WW team! You're an inspiring and amazing leader! Wish you were here leading ours. Our facilitators are dry, boring, and less than interested in "being there."
Lee~ An HJ Video montage? Please share......
Cheers,0 -
Good Morning,
Tis TGIF Eve,
Love the photo Skip, glad my DW does not see this board where she could get idea of getting vehicle and expensive purse. Great that parties went off so good.
Lisa, I'm filling in, really do not want an assigned group or have to be at set meeting; thought I had a receptionist to take over meeting I had done for past 6 years. She informed me she was not working this summer, she is doing meeting this week since I had committed to lead a group. Problem they are having down here is getting leaders and receptionist as well as keeping them; even TM and assistant left. Having to put up with MEG and it going down regularly and airwatch losing reception, we are having new people joining weekly and weighting and imputing new folks into MEG messes up entire meeting. If I'm leading I'll try and help with weigh-ins but then folks are not welcomed and snoosed. I enjoy working with people helping with their journey, I'm just getting where I do not want to give up time with grandkids and family as well as coming up with ways to get and keep discussions interesting. I don't color the way Lou did but sometimes at the end of meeting wall may be covered with messages. All we have out our way are travelers, keeping them supplied and stocked is more than I want to do. Closer into Atlanta they have larger groups where leaders will make enough that they should want meetings, but WW is having issues keeping those meetings staffed.
Steve, very sorry for your loss.
Enjoy the Day,

Morning gang.
Steve I am so very sorry..
Skip the party and fists sound amazing. Great job.
Dinner last night at a restaurant that didn't have prices on the menu. There were ~20 of us so I can only imagine that bill. Food was great.0 -
Steve, I'm so sorry about your mom, sending to you and your family my deepest condolences.0

Another sunny day in Milwaukee, and I hear the MLB MKE Brewers are in first place! And Chicago is trailing by only one game. Wow. Unexpected I think for Milwaukee's young team this season. We will see how long they can hang in there.
Heat index is suppose to rise into the 90's+ here for the weekend - blah. Might have to turn the AC on for the first time. The grass seed is sprouting up very nicely, sure is a chore to water every.single.day. SO has been right on it, along with my help, and I do my gardens.
Booked an Aug long weekend at the lake to hang with my friends from the lake hood where I once owned a lot. Miss summers up there, that's for sure. The plus is we made life long friends. I don't miss taking care of two places though and all the toys that go with lake living.
Work business has again slowed down - sigh. Had a good run the first half of the year.
Hit Aldi's up last night for some groceries, and again found a great deal on an oddity, at least for a grocery store. Workhorses, rated for 750lbs, a 2pack for $18.99. I checked Menards website for similar product- $30....Happy Father's Day honey! I find the oddest stuff there at times. Bought all my metal/cocoa lined planter boxes for my deck and porch railings, with matching hanging baskets there. $6.99 each LOL. And some nice coated garden stakes - a six pack for $2.99
Skip, I guess all that stressing you had with those gifts wasn't necessary. Just by that smile on dw's face sitting in the Jeep, says it all! "high five".
I must check out HJ's video - that rock star of a pooch! Raine prayers go out for that offer to come! It will.
Have a good day BBB0 -
Bill - that photo says it all. Wonderful!0

It sounds like someone got the word that Steve's Mom passed. I didn't see that.
Steve, my sincere condolences. I know she was fighting a tough battle. She's at peace now.0 -
Good morning BBB Friends.
- Sounds like a great party Skip. You say LV purse like I am supposed to know what that is. I'm thinking Las Vegas? I googled it. I bought my DW a KS once (Kate Spade, not Kansas).
- Did you really have the retirement party at Dunkin Donuts?
- Emma is much better. She went for a long walk with us last night.
- I had pizza last night. I should've been with Steph.

LOL, Dennis.....
I can spell Vuitton, so LV was the next best thing.... I wish we would've had a donut party - but no, at the end of this strip is a great Pub called Blackfinn. We moved everyone outside to deliver the SUV surprise.
So glad to hear Emma's progress and return to normalcy. UTI's are no fun!0 -

I never bothered with MEG training and I haven't processed an enrollment in at least 5 years.
We've chewed through another TM here. There are three of us leaders in our territory that have been around a while. Two of us went to BLS together. We had a massive outflux when P+ came out and then the rest bailed on SP.
I'd apply for the TM slot, but that'd be a substantial pay cut from where I was and I'm not a cheerleader. You want someone to run the territory like the business it should be, I'm your guy. You want me to fake excitement about the Next Big Thing™ and that ain't happening.
Lisa - ice your knees after you run. It's new (to you) activity and the joints take a while to inure to it. Also, check out the Runner's World site to learn about proper form and such. It makes a huge difference.
And with that... I'm off to ice my knees...0
