wow, accountability actually works!

After slacking off on logging for quite a few months, including the first four months of my pregnancy, I was unhappy about my pregnancy weight gain (20 lbs in 16 weeks). I'm happy to announce that since I started logging I haven't gained any additional weight since my 16 week check-up (now 22 weeks.) Knock on wood that I can keep up the good work!

Good work!!! It is so easy to get caught up in eating too much when your pregnant. Good for you for logging:flowerforyou:

    You can do it!

I am having a totally different experience this time around thanks to practicing accountability beforehand, and taking that momentum into pregnancy :)

I agree! I started out 34 pounds heavier than I hoped which was still going to be over weight. Then had a stent on bed rest! I was freaking out! I'm only 4'11" & started at 204. I really wanted to be around 170. Thanks to logging, I've gained 6lbs so far at just about 22weeks! The scale has gone up & down a little but nothing like it could have if I were just winging it. Which is exactly what got me all the way back here again, anyway! I'm happy that it's working for you.
