In the weekly Warrior Mini-Goal Challenge focus on your short term goals.
Focusing on one week at a time, when the big picture seems too overwhelming. Small changes can bring on big results!!
Choose one or more things you want to work on for just this week. Don't set it too high or unreachable!!
Please, make sure your week works for you. Sun to Sat or Mon to Sun, whatever is YOUR week!
You can reach your main goal if you break it into small actionable steps. It could be as easy as 1-2-3!
1) Choose something you know you can do easily.
2) Add more difficult tasks to your plan.
3) These small steps will get you started, motivated & help build routine for long term success!!
Anyone interested in joining us for another week, or a first week, or a get back on track week?
Check in often, have a great week and do the best you can!

HI Molly - have a great Wednesday. Keeping moving forward.
I had a lousy day yesterday so no carb goal. I got almost 6,000 steps on Monday but just under 5,000 yesterday. I am keeping moving forward.

Hi Molly and Paulette,
You're back! I'm so excited as this mini goal group is so effective. Then I got distracted and...but now I am back to tracking daily and that is helped by the fact that I am off for two weeks.
You are both targeting carbs eh? That's a great idea. Good luck bringing the awareness to this. My brother went on a paleo way of life (about 5 years ago when his cholesterol and bp were going up ). He does not eat any sugar, bread, pasta etc. but he eats freely otherwise and has lost all the fat on his body. It has been quite compelling to see the change in his life. I am very much in awe of him.
I was wondering about recruiting a few others to the mini goal group - because I think there is a certain number that works best - do you know what that number is? I'm thinking 5 or 6? Probably not any more than 10...
If you agree, maybe we can craft a posting for a few people. Not sure if you've tried this, and don't want 300 people either. Any thoughts?
Hope you are both doing well!

I have been a flop this week but on track today and back to weighing daily because I am in Fast Food binge mode and have gained 9 pounds since last Saturday and I put the brakes on yesterday! lost 2 of 9 today!! Went berserk, wake up call yesterday. Summer is so hard for me but I will not be defeated or sabotage myself. And I agree with Julie being here is keeping me focused for sure.
Julie, thanks for sharing about your brother too. That helps me to know I can do this again. I did it before, just have to buckle down and never give up. Men can just do it!
Have a great weekend!!

Hi Julie- welcome back! Good to hear from you. We can do this.
Hi Molly- sorry you have had a tough week. Good that you put the brakes on. Keep moving forward.
Not my best week. I need to plan better. Definitely not low carb this week. I can get back to that next week.
Wondering about others joining the group and at the same time anyone on the list to support really helps. Have a great weekend!1 -
Okay - let me noodle on that and see what I can do.
Paulette - What do you mean by "anyone on the list" - is that the existing members of the group? Does one need to have permission to join the group and if so, how does that happen? Interesting that both you and Molly are targeting carbs It's a good goal - good luck with it.
Glad you found your groove again Molly - it is good to know you can stop the sabotage and carry on without beating yourself up.
I am toggling right now between this app and another one called NOOM. It may not be the right app yet - there are some things about it I don't like (very expensive!!) and other things I like (some coaching). The group they put me in is non-responsive so that doesn't work. But I am tracking. They only give you back half your calories in fitness, which is probably better for me.
I am motivated right now because I was feeling very achy after playing tennis and thought I can feel better if I take some weight of those joints of mine. Even if it's just 10 pounds. It makes such a difference in my joint pain levels.
See you all next round.
Maybe with more if I can figure out a good recruitment method.

Hi Julie,
I meant anyone who is part of the group and has participated lately. you do not need permission to join the group. I know in the past that some people were encouraged to join the group and were pointed in the right direction. Hearts may know more about that.
sorry your joints are achy. I am feeling about the same way. part is weather but most of it for me is weight. I simply have to take the pressure off.
Molly- I know you can set some realistic goals this week and chose 1 or 2 things to work on. You are awesome and so worth all the effort. Hopefully you can join us on the new week.1 -
Thanks everyone! So sorry I fell off the wagon completely last week! I am going to do better this week. At least make sure I check in M-F if nothing else, no matter what. Good job checking in Everyone! We can do this!0
