We started off the shopping trip ok then mom fell in love with this pair of glasses at the eye Dr. and the lady said she couldn't have them as they could only be purchased by people with a certain insurance. That was it mom was so depressed after that. So I let her dress me lets just say she didn't go by size she eye balled the clothing so yes I felt horrible when we were done. Too tight and clung to every roll or so long and out of proportion. I did get stuff but for everything I bought I am getting rid of something. At the clothing store I stayed in budget and got a bunch of things with the discount it came down to 20. then we stopped at a gift shop where they make jewelry and bought a necklace for 15. So I did ok in the cash dept. When my daughter gets back into town I will have her go through the clothes I am going to get rid of and make sure she doesn't want anything and then they are gone.
I realized I have a bunch of Dr. apts I should of had done but they got waylaid when gran got sick and died now it's trying to get things back on track again. Too bad you can't just say Oh well I 'm just going to skip it this year. Catch me next year. Time for work till later sue

@2020pinktogo I can understand your mom being upset not being able to buy a pr of glasses she loved because she didn't have the right insurance. Never heard of such a thing. Sounds like you did great with the cash so take that as a win, and let the rest of the day go.
Had a successful day yesterday. Met all my goals. Have had 2 nice swooshes the past 2 days by being focused but I have to be so diligent.
We are waiting patiently (not) for our daughter to call and say she is labour and to come pick up our granddaughter so they can go to the hospital. Yesterday was her due date so hopefully anytime now. New baby to snuggle soon.
Today's goals:
eat to plan
meal prep for tomorrow
stay under calories
hot yoga
strength training
bag hay
bed early
Happy Hump Day!0 -
@2020pinktogo Great job sticking within a reasonable budget. You should be very proud of yourself. I am sure mom (whether she knows it or not) appreciated your willingness to let her take her depression out on you. What a good sport!
@Kenda2427 @ swooshes is great! And a new grand baby soon. I am kind of jealous, but I hope it is a long time before I become a grandma. Maybe I can hope to be a great aunt soon. My oldest daughter is almost 18 and I really hope she doesn't become a mom. She would do great at loving them, but I don't think she will ever be able to live on her own. She has some pretty severe learning disabilities. My other two are 6 and 8.
So yesterday I said to heck with my goals.
Yesterday's Goals:
Stay Focused at Work
Gym Time
Stay green No exercise calories today. (no Cake) Had the cake, but was close to Green
Lunch run/walk
17000 Steps 15500
Dinner
100 Squats I did 60 I think
10 wall push ups
So rinse and repeat
Today's Goals:
Stay Focused at Work
Stay green No exercise calories today. (no Cake)
Lunch run/walk
17000 Steps
100 Squats
10 wall push ups
I hope everyone has a wonderful day.
@mari_moulin Did you have your surgery yet? How are you doing?1 -
@jdelaroy - I had surgery yesterday. I'm struggling with lots of nausea and pain at the moment. I didn't get to post earlier as things for busy right before surgery. All went well and now onto recovery. I will post more ads soon as I'm a bit better. Thanks so much for thinking of me xxx1

Good morning flowers!!!
@mari_moulin the hardest part has passed and now you can just focus on recovery! I'm relived everything worked out. Rest and heal up!
@jdelaroy I don't think you failed your goals yesterday. You worked on them and most were very accomplished! Still overlapping everyone on the couch
That's the @Kenda2427 in full effect here back on track with positive reactions from your body. And a new grandma soon !!! For every slap in life, we sure get hug of love! Good for you!!!
@2020pinktogo you're just a nice human being all around! So sweet to consider your mother's feeling and be there for her! Outstanding job on refraining from breaking the budget!!!
Yesterday was epic!!! Started the day with cardio, did my chin-ups, took a 2 hour hike on the trail, did my training, ate within calories, slept great. Woke up heavier today. I can't rely on the scale for anything. just the usual shenanigans. On the bright side, I feel I look tighter and leaner so at least some positive responses from my body.
Today's goals are: eat within calories, cardio, training, chin-ups, steps, water and sleep.
Let's have a fabulous Wednesday!!!1
